This was adorable. There were some tropes in here that are very common in high school romances but I was ok with it because I really like these two and find this series to be a comfort read.

This is definitely the cutest and sweetest volume so far! I love to see how Ryuuji is dealing with his overwhelming love for Amane.

Also, we need more of jealous Ryuuji he's too adorable.

This volume is heavier on tropes than the previous ones, but I still find it interesting. Ryuuji is responsible for taking care of his family, which frequently requires him to be selfless and puts others' needs above his own, so seeing him act possessive over Amane is refreshing.

Didn't love this quite as much as the previous two; it's still extremely cute, but it was treading a lot of familiar tropes that made it feel a bit less unique.

Any time a series goes on for long enough, editors seem to push for the love triangle or - as the guy calls himself in this one - the third wheel. I appreciated that Sunabara was just a big, friendly guy who's totally cool with his two new friends dating each other, and had simply butted in because he enjoyed spending time with them. That's the sort of low drama and solid emotions that this series is good at.

Ryuuji's jealousy arc (another common trope) worked well, although it did feel too early in their relationship. He'd literally only just kissed Amane for the first time and was still trying to figure out if his feelings were friendship or romantic. Rather than a slow progression as they get to explore all that more, he's thrown straight into "I don't like this other guy being close to my boyfriend."

I mean, that does make him face and understand his feelings. But it didn't feel entirely right for a character who'd been set up to be so easygoing and accepting with everyone. I guess it's meant to show that Amane is a big exception for Ryuuji - even though Sunabara points out they've only known each other for three months!

The rest of the story was very cute. Amane is adorable, and it's nice to see him being so happy. I also loved how much he wanted to brag about Ryuuji - not as his boyfriend, but simply as a wonderful person he's so proud of and excited to be able to spend time with. (Part of how Sunabara got looped into their friend group to begin with.)

They're still working out what it means to date each other; everything for Ryuuji is new, although he's ready to jump into a lot of it once he figures out how it works with guys. And the romantic side is entirely new to Amane, too, because he's never had someone who actually cared about him in the past, or with whom he was in love.

A very nice little series that continues to feel warm and very full of the brightness of first love.

Favorite volume so far!!!!! Ryuuji and Amane are so lovable. I love them individually and I love them together!

The jealousy arc was done so well here, I like that it didn’t create drama and rather made them feel more comfortable with their feelings too. And they’re so open with and understanding towards each other!

I can’t wait for the next volume AAAAAA

Anything less than 5 stars for this is criminal because I LOVED every single aspect.

Ah, I really love this. They’re so adorable; I just want to hug them and keep them in my pocket, haha.

I thought Sunabara’s character would be annoying, but I was totally wrong. His presence actually helps Ryuuji and Amane’s relationship move forward.

Feia gairebé un any que em vaig llegir el segon volum, així que tenia la història un pèl oblidada, però n'hi he reenganxat de seguida! L'anterior s'acabava que començaven a sortir després que el noi moreno reflexionés que aquesta proximitat que sentia cap a l'altre era estima (cosa que va semblar un pèl difícil de creure, suposo que per la manera com ho diu i perquè el crush no sembla recíproc). Ara bé, en aquest volum sí que tenim un desplegament d'amor romàntic en tota regla quan el pobre moreno han de lidiar amb la gelosia i les ganes d'acaparar la seva parella. Per sort és una sèrie molt saludable i respectuosa, es fa èmfasi en la comunicació i no dona marge a la toxicitat. A més, l'amic que podria semblar el rival amorós s'assabenta de la relació i els fa costat ♥ Tenen una cita a l'aquari d'Enoshima i acaben parlant de ser el següent pas. Una cucada d'història, amb ganes de més!!! :3

Hach, was hab ich die beiden Cutemäuse vermisst 🥹💕 sie werden sich immer mehr ihrer eigenen Gefühle bewusst und das mitzuverfolgen.. da geht einem regelrecht das Herz auf! 💖 Es taucht ein neuer Charakter auf, der vor allem Ryujis Gefühlswelt ziemlich auf den Kopf stellt. Dabei entstehen viele Momente, bei denen man immer wieder Schmunzeln und Kichern muss, haha. Der Plot nimmt dadurch auch langsam immer mehr an Fahrt auf und so kommen sich die beiden auch körperlich immer näher 🤭 ich hab's ja nicht so sehr mit expliziten Szenen, daher mal sehen, wie intensiv das noch wird - bisher mag ich's aber, wie sich das alles entwickelt und die Zeichnungen untermalen die Emotionen und die Atmosphäre sehr schön. Finde auch, dass das Ambiente vom Aquarium so toll eingefangen wurde und optisch ist's so wunderbar anzugucken. Freu mich sehr auf den nächsten Band! 💖

Omg a couple that talks and doesn't let self insecurities prevent them from growing closer! The foe in this volume was enjoyable! He admits he didn't realize that he was throwing a wrench in them and wants to be friends with both! I love them together! That the discussion about his jealousy and how he wasn't sure how to navigating relationships. Oh and the discussion of wanting to kiss and maybe more, is my fav for high school cause it is about exploring and growing together not just smutty. I love them I want more when is the next volume coming?
