I really loved this Bible study! It was easy to follow and practical. I also appreciated the online study guide, which was helpful if I needed support with any of the answers.
One thing I didn’t care for was that when it asked you to flip to another passage, it didn’t remind you to return to the original passage, which caused a bit of confusion at times.

Despite being small and thin, the study was surprisingly in-depth. It allowed for meditation on short scriptures, encouraging reflection even when there wasn’t much text. Overall, I would absolutely recommend this Bible study, especially for someone who is busy, like a young mom or anyone looking for a practical, accessible way to dive into the Bible without knowing where to start.

I am always a Lydia Brownback fan. She explores Scripture in a rich, deep way that really opens up the text and makes you think. Her questions are rich theologically but easy enough to understand for a layman. There were a few questions here and there that I genuinely couldn’t wrap my head around, and the others in my Bible study ran into the same problem with the same questions. But for the most part, this was an excellent study deep-diving into Paul’s letter to the Colossians.

“Colossians: Fullness of Life in Christ” is a 10-week Bible study on the book of Colossians. I have fully enjoyed this study as well as the others in the series. I’ve always loved interactive devotionals, journals, and spiritual studies, and this series is at the top of my list.

This study emphasizes the fact that Christ is everything. He is sufficient for all our needs, especially our salvation. By being obedient to Him and living in His ways, we grow in every aspect of our lives. By continually learning about Him, the better we know Him, Love Him, and are grateful for Him. Also, by living for Him, we are an example for others.

Though marketed to women, I feel anyone can learn and grow from the Flourish books.

I’m very familiar with Colossians 3:23 - I feel like that’s the verse most know. “Whatever you do, do it for the glory of God.” But reading the surrounding chapters, verses, around it really show the how and why to do that.

I’ve been parked in the book of Colossians for months now. Reading different commentaries, rereading the same 4 chapters over and over again, and as I wrapped up the final day of this study, I could almost cry because I am so encouraged and challenged to live with my feet on earth but my mind set on things above.

Highly recommend. Sweet conversation in doing this in a group with other ladies.
