She sacrificed everything, even her honour and integrity. She needed—no, deserved—a fresh start. Yet, she would need to be reminded of her history, a fragment of a memory to keep her in control at all times. There and then, walking past the ashes of another dead dragon, she decided to leave her old life behind. She had a new purpose, and needed a new identity to go with it. Her new name was Firestorm. More than two thousand years later, civilization is once again threatened. The previous attempt to protect the realm for eternity was unsuccessful. Evil was not destroyed, it was merely contained. Can peace be restored… and at what cost? Ironore is a small island where a fire sorceress teams up with a group of bounty hunters to find out if rumours of orcs on the island are true. As details are uncovered piece by piece, will they be able to connect them and act to prevent a sinister plan? Discover a world ruled by sorceresses and join them in their struggle to make the world a better place. Who will ultimately decide the fate of the world? And what will that future look like?

Really exciting and well paced book that I found myself hooked on. It was extra special to read since I have experienced this story in another way and now get to read about it. Even if you haven’t played “drakar och demoner” with Albert Bertilsson as “spelledare” you can still experience this thrilling “campaign”.

Sabotage is a thrilling journey through a high-fantasy realm meticulously crafted by the master world-builder, Albert, also known as "SL - Spelledaren" or "The Dungeon Master".
We're introduced to island of Ironore and a band of heroes as they unravel whispers of orcs and impending perils. Having lived this adventure over many months, it filled my heart with warmth and brought laughter to my cheeks as I dived through the pages. With hints of the classic allure of Dungeons & Dragons (but rather the Swedish Drakar & Demoner), Sabotage masterfully combines redemption and intrigue, making it an essential read for fantasy enthusiasts.
