It incorporates colour images from two Gosling's "Colour Atlas of Human Anatomy" and the Bassett collection of gross anatomy images, renowned for its accuracy. Unlike other photographic atlases, it features direct labelling of photographs, so there is no complex numbering or coding system for the student to master.
