I learned a lot, but it took me a while to get through. The book was well written and organized, and it was easy to understand, especially because of the glossary. If there was a term I needed defined, I could just flip to the back of the book.
I picked up this book to learn more about psychology, and I succeeded. So I’d say it was a success!

too basic for me and not very authoritative sounding. I'm skeptical of the science behind this as the reference list seems slim. anyway I was looking for texts on developmental psychology that would be helpful for educators and this is more of a cliffs notes undergrad level text. in that respect it was a good refresher.
