The Uffda Trial

Rate this book
The Uffda trial is set in the fictitious western town of Vingelen in 1926, an extremely homogenous Scandinavian community. Twenty-three year old Karl Thorson has been forced to quit high school to work the family farm. He would love to get married and get on with the business of his life, but has yet to meet anyone he would want to marry. While attending a dance in a neighboring community Karl meets Julie. Although it wasn’t love at first sight, there is certainly mutual attraction. Karl attempts to learn more about her and especially the occupation of her unusually evasive father.
