Three science fiction short stories.General Emergency ---- There have been many ideas about how to fix today's broken medical system. What if all of these ideas came true? General Emergency is a hilarious look at one possible future. With modern wonders like The-All-Psychiatric-Network on the information superhighway, palm print identification scanning (by the way, they keep the palm -- and the whole hand!) and guaranteed universal treatment. ("Treatment is universal...payment is not!")

The Lost Planeteers ---- It seemed like any other "planeteering" expedition - transport a group of malcontents and misfits to an M-type planet, drop them off, and hightail it back to the worm hole in space before it closes. When one problem leads to another, it becomes apparent the captain and crew have also become planeteers. Things go from bad to worse after crash landing on a planet inhabited by a race of giant lizards with a taste for planeteers!

Twin Engines ---- Benjamin Renaldo is having a very bad day. What starts out as a routine morning at NitroDyne, the manufacturer of the Twin Engines transport rocket shuttle, leads to a seemingly unexplainable series of misunderstandings. On the run and accused of a myriad of crimes, from stealing equipment to arson, he finally confronts his tormentor and the horrifying future we all may face.
