A nice little story about 4 intrepid women going on an adventure to a beautiful place! It wasn't very detail oriented or long, but the language and style of writing were very quaint and fun to read. It was a very tiny snapshot of the people they met and the impressions they left. The snapshots were priceless too, seeing their smiling faces!

A fairly interesting read for what it is. A report from three women's viewpoints of their hike and travel in southwest Colorado with the highlight being Mesa Verde before it was made into a national park. I am from the area and recently visited Mesa Verde and picked up this little booklet.

I especially enjoyed the picture of the girls in front of the La Veta hotel in Gunnison. They are basically standing about half a block from where my husband and I lived when we were newlyweds in the late 90s.

Reading this was a little glimpse into the past, both of what these girls experienced and my own past locations in Colorado. Also enjoyed the repeated kindness of strangers, and the "small world" feel.

Who knows, I may go back and live in the area again. After reading this, I certainly feel the pull.

A nice picture of a moment in time when our country was still part of nature and the trip friends went on to see one of our National Parks.

This was short and sweet but still filled with storytelling that a reader can get a sense of friendship and adventure in travel and meeting people along the way.
