The books in The Way I Act series are a great way for children to learn about how to be a better person. All of the stories teach children the value of respect for others, personal integrity, and successful relationships. This book was about a young girl who helped out in her neighborhood. After being snowed in for the day and the power going out, she began to notice people helping one another out. She began to do small things that were helpful and showed how good it made her feel. This book shows how kindness can make you feel great and that it can be passed on to someone else who may see you acting in such a way.
