Where to begin? Yvette's book is just darling. Its a children's cookbook that focuses on simple italian cooking through a group of 5 diverse children. The recipes are delish, the design and illustration rocks, and there's a nice community service angle throughout. Lots of cookbooks for kids revolve around recipes that only kids would want to eat - like ants on a log or whatever, but the recipes here are tasty and sophisticated enough to serve at a dinner party while still being easy, fun, and most importantly, appealing to kids. Give it to your nieces and nephews for their next birthday!
