i found myself drowned in this book. nothing compares to what this had to say. The details, the heartache, I don't know how it's possible to think of such ideas. Never done before, fresh and tasty. I found myself unable to control my tears when I reached chapter 30. I cannot say what happens due to spoilers but just know it involves many characters being absorbed into the abyss :(. Chapter 31 was just as bad, too. So many tragedies, I miss the best character already, Colon. Stayed up endless nights reading this book, truly a masterpiece of the times.

This book is too succinct and doesn't explain the physiological concepts in a manner that is easy to understand. I love that it is a Veterinary Physiology textbook but I think that one should read Marieb & Hoehn's Human Anatomy & Physiology first (or other good physiology textbooks) before reading this one. On a good note I enjoyed the clinical cases at the end of each chapter.
