To Live Again

Rate this book
Dr. Kimberly Rambaugh, inventor of matter transportation, has a burning desire - to live beyond death. Her work centers around a method to store a copy of a transported image on a computer hard drive and then replicate it upon demand. She succeeds, but her success is overshadowed by disaster. An accident creates a duplicate of herself while she is hundreds of miles away. What could greatly benefit herself and humanity turns into a relentless chase as the two Kims try to kill each other in jealous rage. Criminal elements try to find the terrible secret as friends try to stop a brilliant mind gone awry. Private investigators, friends and two police departments join forces to stop the insanity as murder follows defensive killing. The line of bodies leads one police chief toward an end he doesn't want to face and no one else believes to be possible. After all, if a human can be stores on a compter, so can anything else. All it takes it energy. Cars, electronic devices, appliances, computers, weapons -- you name it and it can be stored and called up as needed. World economies could collapse, and governments would be overloaded in the chaos to follow. Can it be stopped or is it too late. Tiny Io will reveal the answers in an explosive ending with a twist turned so tight it will leave the reader breathless. But even then -- is it over?
