Elinor Kapp is the author of two non-fiction books on the links between textiles and words. She has also published a book of highly unusual modern fairy tales written especially for an older generation, while also being enjoyable to the young, which reflects the traditional ways in which all ages shared, loved and learnt from the regular 'telling' of folk and fairy tales.
Now, Elinor is sharing with us incidents, adventures, ideas, poems, and both true and fictional stories from the early years of her own life. These memoirs are both serious and funny, happy and sad, but always with the unique twist of the observations she has brought to life for over seven decades.
