An excellent management book. The author has three steps to improvement. Find it, Change it, Pass it on. If you want to understand how to implement it, you have to read the book.
This book has a great concept of "everyone sharing" as a team at work or at home to accomplish a balanced life. I believe this can only work if it starts from the top down (page 101). As stated on page 55, I work for a large company that gives equal raises and bonuses across the board regardless of individual performance. They would never agree to these practices. A small business owner would do well to read this and teach each employee as they grow.
Stop. Look around. Get some perspective. Change what needs to be changed. Pass it on.
"we found that when people were happy in their lives, but that always seemed to come through in our dealings with customers, and that our customers always wanted to work with us. When we focus on balance, the number is always come through."
Good message, quick read. Should it have been longer? Maybe examples from real life or info that the fictional ones were based on real life would have helped. The advice in the book just seemed so simple that it’s hard to believe it isn’t more widely spread.
Bacaan yang ringan namun sarat makna. Buku ini menuturkan bagaimana membangun sebuah teamwork, dan mengajarkan kita untuk lebih banyak 'mendengar' dari orang2 di lingkungan kerja kita.
