Every once in a while I hit a book that really surprises me. This tiny little book looked like light reading. I didn't expect a gripping mystery that quite honestly creeped me out - especially given the fact that it's a kid's book! I wound up reading bits out loud to my daughter who is 13 and she admitted that it was pretty awesome - high praise from her. I love the fact that it's Christian without being preachy and even though it's in the middle of the series, you could follow the action just fine. I want to read the other three books so now I'm going to have to go hunting.
Highly recommended and one I will share with my kids!
