Fun little book for families with young children to teach them gospel topics.
Ideal for at home lessons on sundays or family home evenings. Just a short story for parents to read to children and every topic is provided with a song/hymn to accompany.

My kids have enjoyed this. We don't use it every week, but it has been a fun supplement to our other lessons. We cut the picture squares out of the back and put them in a draw bag, each of the kids take a turn on drawing a lesson and the 2 oldest boys get to teach it since they are reading. We then put the picture in a discard bag so the lesson is not repeated yet. I like it because when we haven't planned something in advance or don't have much time they are quick simple lessons and it gives the kids a chance to give our lesson too.

A great book for lots of FHE lessons geared towards young (8 and under) chilren. They are each about 3-5 minutes long (about the attention span of small children), but there are no pictures or ideas for activities/treats. So, there is more involved in planning the lesson than just grabbing the book. Good investment though.

A MUST have for families of young children. Written by a mother with 13 years experience teaching elementary education and preschool, this book is perfect for the short attention span of young ones. It has short, to-the-point lessons using simple vocabulary and 1 scripture per lesson. We LOVE it and we use it every family night. Go now... buy it.

I'm surprised this is in here. I really like this book because it's great for 'beginner' family nights. It's great for Joshua. We started is when he was about 19 months. Of course it's pretty short, but it's getting us in the habit and that's what is most important.

This book is a FABLULOUS resource for FHE--my kids really LOVE being involved in Family night and this really helps. And it makes Family night fun cuz I don't have to come up with a lesson...we can just sit down and have fun! I also really LOVE this author--she's brilliant and so very talented!

This appears to be working! Yay!!!

I'm really terrible at being motivated and everything in having Family Home Evening. But this is such a nice collection of short and sweet lessons. Now I have no excuse.

Thanks, Jenny, for passing it on! ^_^

We use this book all the time. Lost of fun ideas for quick kid friendly lessons. The kids also love the small size. They carry it around and play primary.

This is a good book to have for fast lessons that are both kid friendly to hear and to give the lesson. It's a good one to keep on the shelf for families with young kids.
