I really enjoyed reading this book for various reasons. It taught me the different changes I have to go through when I start high school, compared to middle school. For instance, teachers would expect more of me academically and socially. Additionally, this book tells me what to expect each year in high school. For instance, during junior and senior year, college applications would come along. Extracurricular are also very important as well, as you can become a more well rounded person. Grades are not just the most important things in high school, although it is probably the biggest factor when it comes to college application. This book tells me that having fun and doing well in school is not impossible. If you know how to manage your time and prioritize, it is not impossible to having fun while trying to succeed in school.
