If you're looking for a good book on SVM, BLAC/DC motors and what-not, this is NOT the book to get. There's hardly any theory or practical information in this book concerning design and control of electric motors.

This book is basically an advertisement for Motorola chips. It's pretty sad too because the publisher should be doing a search-replace operation with Motorola->Freescale.

This is an incredibly disappointing book and after reading all 704 pages of it the only thing you're going to get is an overwhelming urge to get your money back. This book was a total gyp.
