Makeover Magic is about a twelve year old girl called Lucy and her best friend, Jules. Lucy wants to be a famous fashion designer and really likes fashion. Jules has a bit more of a rock-chick style. When the new, nerdy girl named Matilda-Jane comes to their school Lucy decideds to give her a makeover to make her into a fashionable girl

A fun fluff read that I got way more invested in than I expected to.

Lucy is 12. Some of what she experiences is YIKES for a 12 year old, or maybe I’m just overreacting because of my purity culture background, but anyways. It was fun to read about tween life sans purity culture, ‘cause I never got to experience that myself.

love this book .it’s about a 12 year old girl named Lucy who’s really into fashion and has and bestie named jules . it’s a really fun weekend read and I love how it’s written like a tween diary . Lucy is like a girly girl and jules it more rock-chic .really fun read one of my favs !!

Oh My God THIS SERIES!

I was in my school library looking at the primary reading section and remembering all the books I've loved as a child and I came across this series and I literally hugged these books. I used to love them sooooo much. I thought they were funny and witty and beautifully written and even looking back on them now I still think that. From start to end the series only gets better. The first few books do fall a little short in comparisin to the last few but I just loved those 3 girls. Especially in the last book.

For a 10 book series I am really impressed. Most series tend to get worse and worse as the books go one but Kelly McKain managed to keep the books just as interesting and exiciting throughout, if not more interesting and exciting. I just loved it!

This is one of my favourite book series but sadly i can't track the rest of them down.
Last year it was very popular in my class for the girls.
It's about a young girl who loves to design fashion and this book she makes a new best friend and her other best friend doesn't really get along with her.

I just finished reading that book today
the first thing I like in it
its English is so interesting , simple and easy
"English is second language for me "
the second thing : the way of talking and drawings inside the book
made me feel like I watch a setcom English series , so I liked it

Okay fine I'll say it. This is bad. Really bad.lucy here is obsessed with makeup and fashion. And worse, it teaches young girls being simple and shy isn't good and you have to be cool and glamorous. Lucy is kind of a brat in doing that to matila-jane oh sorry Tilda. I can give the illustrations a chance but I hate these books
