It's an inspirational book knowing that someone could offer his life to save other lives; starting from scratch to become Uganda's leading healthcare provider. Totally worth your time. From Ireland, to Luwero for the HIV pandemic, the LRA atrocities and business skills. Give it a try.
Very informative and inspirational, with humour along the way. However I think it would be difficult to follow, and in some places to understand the slang used if one had not at least spent some time in Uganda. I rated it highly as I am both a doctor and have spent several months in Uganda so could very closely connect to what Ian Clarke was describing, though i think others may be less engaged if they have neither of those similarities.
