The mighty redwood tree stands tall in the midst of all that nature can place against it--fire, wind, and torrential rains. In much the same way, when life hands us more than we can bear, circumstances overwhelm us, or we are tempted to make the safe choice rather than the right choice, God gives us the opportunity to stand firm. As you discover God's truth for your life, you'll develop the courage to stand firm upon the grace and mercy of God, no matter what other people think. You'll learn how to live your life--even if it's not the life you would have chosen for yourself--without explanation, without apology. When life is difficult, stand firm. When relationships crumble, stand firm. When heartache comes, stand firm. Donna Partow takes you on a journey into the riches of God's grace and the ways in which it can give you the strength to carry on. Poignantly written and amazingly transparent, these pages will challenge your spirit and touch your emotions.
To live a life that actually counts for the Kingdom?
Do you read the great stories of how God worked throughout church history – and think: YES, that’s what I want to be part of!
I write books to empower women to Do What Matters - for their personal well-being, to strengthen their key relationships and most of all, to make a difference in this world.
Many people have been blessed by my free Make Today Great Daily Planning Form - you are welcome to grab a copy at www.donnapartow.com/great
My current mission is raising up an army of Kingdom-minded digital nomads. I keep scratching my head, wondering when the church is going to figure out that the greatest opportunity in history is right here, right now. It’s called location independence and it means you can live and work anywhere in the world you feel called to make a difference.
If you’re ready to combine your love for God, the thrill of travel and the skill required to build an online presence, then I invite you to come away with me to be trained at the annual Lifestyle Freedom Event.
Originally I gave this title 3 stars. I am revising my stars to zero.
The reason I am doing so is that since reading this title, several things about my faith journey and expression have changed and I no longer subscribe to evangelical ideologies.
Additionally, Partow shares various stories about her marriage and husband and they made me VERY uncomfortable. It is a toxic and dysfunctional relationship - or was when she authored the book.
