This book has some flaws. It is a first novel by a guy who really is a sheriff right down the road. But even with a few leaps in credibility and some awkward dialogue, it had me sucked in from page one. It is a really good read and when I go to the end, I have to say that I was really disappointed to learn that I will have to wait a whole year before his next one is available.

Not deep, but fun read. Trivia: the title is taken from a popular beach area on Whidbey Island, Washington where the author lived.
