Louis Saha is not John Terry in fact he is unlike most footballers . This is as far from the usual ghost written sports memoire as it is possible to be This is also a mile away from the " I was from a tight knit working class background we was poor but honest me mam blah blah blah " It is not an autobiography but a series of chapters about what it is like to be a modern day successful footballer and it sounds quite hard work and lots of things can go wrong and it is easy for many to fall off the gravy train if WAGS , flash cars , gambling , injuries , drink and loss of form get in the way . Many are called but few are chosen . I will pause for a moment when screaming as Carlos Tevez thinks he is not quite up to coming off the bench . He might have his reasons . I have one reservation in that Louis Saha sounds a bit too good to be true . He is good mates with Patrice Evra and he sounds a real fruit cake and has a fascinating background so he would be a good subject . Incidentally Goodreads does not seem to go in for footie books . i could not find it listed anywhere which is a shame .
