Author Bio-Cedric Hampson is an eminent Queen's Counsel and former President of the Bar Association of Queensland. Educated in Queensland and at Oxford, he has had a career in the law spanning forty-nine years. He has appeared in State and Commonwealth courts and tribunals, the High Court and the Privy Council. He lives with his wife, prominent Dutch-born sculptor, ¬Catharina. They have four children and ten grandchildren.
