Loved it! Wow, not even sure where to begin. It’s not what you think it is.
You can’t get higher stakes than life and death, but it had a low-key, undemanding pace and atmosphere, which I find soothing. The intricate, intimate and deeply familiar feeling of fitting in to a new environment, the delicate observations of moving through your day, trying to make the right choices… it was surprising poetry. Unexpectedly profound.
