Title: A Gripping Tale of Resilience and Redemption!

Review:
"After The Rain" is a captivating and emotionally charged novel that swept me away from the very first page. Be warned: once you pick this book up, you won't want to put it down! As a reader, I was immediately drawn into Marley Johnson's world, feeling every ounce of her pain, sorrow, and ultimately, her journey towards healing.

This book beautifully explores the theme of resilience, taking the reader on a rollercoaster ride of love, loss, and the power of second chances. The slow burn romance between Marley and Wyatt added a layer of depth and anticipation, keeping me engaged and rooting for their eventual happiness. The author skillfully navigates the complexities of grief and guilt, making the characters feel real and relatable.

One aspect that truly stood out to me was the vivid portrayal of the characters' emotions. The raw and heartfelt depiction of Marley's struggles and her growth throughout the story was truly commendable. I found myself empathizing with her on a profound level, sharing her pain and celebrating her victories.

The novel expertly incorporates tropes such as second chance at love and the healing power of friendship, making it a delightful read for fans of women's fiction and romance. The exploration of family dynamics, overcoming adversity, and finding hope in the face of unimaginable tragedy added layers of depth to the story, making it resonate on a universal level.

The author's writing style is engaging and beautifully descriptive, effortlessly painting scenes and emotions in my mind. The pacing was just right, with well-timed twists and turns that kept me eagerly turning the pages, desperate to uncover Marley's fate.

Overall, "After The Rain" is a powerful and uplifting read that skillfully weaves together heartbreak, hope, and the indomitable spirit of the human heart. I highly recommend this book to anyone seeking a compelling story that will leave a lasting impact. Get ready to be swept away on an emotional journey of love, loss, and ultimately, redemption.

Had the pleasure of reading this beautiful book recently and would strongly recommend it to other lovers of romance novels! I loved how the author didn't shy away from complicated feelings for either of the main characters and brought together so much hope and openness amidst the struggles they both faced. The highlights for me were Marley's emotional journey throughout the book (which really captured the ebbs and flows of grief and felt so authentic) and the coldness of the villain (who is such a great "love to hate them" character). This book is perfect for anyone looking for a read with lots of heart, hope, and triumph. I'm already excited for Colson's next book!

When a dear friend said she had published her first book I knew it would be amazing. She doesn't do anything without putting her heart in soul into it. However I didn't expect how deeply she would draw me in. This book brought out all the emotions you look for in a story of love and healing. I started this last evening and couldn't stop reading, I read till my eyes wouldn't stay open and when I woke at 4:30 in the morning couldn't back asleep till I picked it back up and finished the last few chapters. Can't wait to see what she writes next.

I’ve never sobbed so hard

This was new for me, I was sobbing 10 pages in and it left this anxiety in me the rest of the book. I cried more and more as it went on and the letters? Stop, I’m holding it together by a single thread. It’s books like these that really get you thinking about the blessings in life and the heart ache too. I pray everyday that something like this doesn’t happen to my family and as an empathetic I felt for her the entire book. I loved it though, anything that really drives an emotion out of me is a 5 star read.

Almost?

Not my first Tilly H. Colson book, but not sure how I felt about it. The idea of the story was good, but hard to write. I felt the emotions of Marley, with everything she was going through, even though I haven’t experienced the same pain. Somehow, the writing wasn’t quite up to par with the writing I have come to love from this author. She didn’t quite sell me on the other characters in the book, the villain, to me, wasn’t quite believable in her actions and execution.
