When Tien Shue's brother is injured and in debt, he has nowhere to turn but to Aoe Shougo. When he becomes Kiichi's personal bodyguard, what cruel manipulations will Tien Shue see from Shougo? And then Izumi and Naoya turned into animals!
This is a very good series and even though it isn't actually well drawn - at least IMHO - the stories are quite interesting.
This volume told mostly the story of Kiichi and his lover/butler/assistant Haruomi, how they met etc. It was also more cruel than the previous parts. And the story ended with a huge cliffhanger in this volume.
There were also two other stories there: A short piece about Kiichi annoying Reiji by kidnapping Naoya and a fairy tale about a cat and a dog that probably should have lightened the mood of this volume after the tragic main story.

i tend to lose interest in long-form yaoi when, as it inevitably does, it descends into tangled (and, usually, quasi or actual incestous) backstory in order to maintain a magazine presence, and Love Mode is no exception. however, it looks like the flashback is setting up the intervention of Haruomi's brother at some future point, so i'll hang out for that. [also young Kiichi isn't bad, although i'm deeply unimpressed by Aoe snr.:]
Another fantastic volume with even better art! This book focuses on the Aoe family history, especially Kiichi and Haruomi. It's incredible how Haruomi came to be with the family, and the relationship that developed between him and Kiichi. Also, the mystery of who saved Kiichi in the other volume is revealed, and it's pretty incredible to find out he's Haruomi's twin brother. I wish we got to see more of him, though.
Omong2, Kiichi waktu masi muda cantik sekali dgn rambut panjang. O__O
I liked the backstory and this one added depth of character to two characters. I liked the ending side-story because Takimaya and Izumi are my favorite couple and have been absent as the main characters since about book 2. Overall, looking forward to book 9, but not over the top about it.
This one goes into the back history of Kiichi and Haruomi. Haruomi’s loyalty and devotion to Kiichi. They’re a sweet couple. Covered the young adulthood of both Aoe boys, and to see Kiichi with long hair, wow! This story has great insight into how and why their personalities were built.
In this volume, we're looking into Kiichi's and his bodyguard, Kashima's past. I'm just a sucker for master-servant romance and Kiichi and Kashima is so fit for each other it hurts.
