Women in Scripture considers women in the Christian and Jewish scriptures. Divided into three main portions on named women, unnamed women, and female deities/personifications, the entries provide an overview of scholarship along with a detailed entry on basic context. When a named woman is mentioned in several places, all are considered.

Very helpful starting point for researching women in Scripture, and an essential resource for preachers and teachers.

Not comprehensive or exhaustive on women included in the Bible; there are some errors; however an excellent resource to begin study
