Spicy middle entry in this MMF series
3.5*
Just like book one, I don't see the need for the story to be split up because we're not just in Zayne's POV here.
Ella Frank can write spice, there's no doubt about that and here she advances the throuple relationship with a confrontation between Chloé's two men and her three fathers.
It's not overly complicated or dramatic and has a fairly logical approach that sees Zayne talking to Priest about how much Ethan is like him.
Which would be fine if they hadn't just met and only spent about an hour together!
I know we often suspend reality when reading a romance, but sometimes I'd like there to be just a bit more time for conflicts to be resolved.
That's a minor criticism, though, and not one that's enough to break my enjoyment overall of this second entry.
The trip to Paris and the kink scene performed by the three of them at Ethan and Zayne's new club is excellent and perfectly demonstrates the growing feelings and depth of trust between them all.
I'll be interested to see what comes up in book three as the tension drivers, I suspect it will be more to do with Zayne's homophobic a*** of a father or Ethan's childhood trauma of losing his parents.
Overall a solid middle instalment that moved the plot along satisfactorily.

So this is a case of there is nothing wrong with the book, at all, it just isn't for me. MMF isn't my jam apparently. I just thought Chloe didn't bring much to the table. As a mainly MM reader, I think it would take an amazing female lead for me to get on board with these two men being so obsessed with her. The whole time I wanted more Zayne/Ethan. I wanted to know more of their story which really isn't the point of this part of the series.
I do LOVE the parts with Priest/Julien/Robbie. I adore those three and I forgot how amazing growly Priest is. I love how both Ethan & Zayne handled him.
I will say if you are a fan of MMF you will like these books. I tried it but it wasn't my thing. That being said I will most likely continue with the series just to get more of Priest/Julien/Robbie. I also have a thing about quitting series but that is my own crazy to deal with haha.

I'm honestly very disappointed in this one. This thruple was growing on me in the first book and I was looking forward to what's next, but we jumped to love ridiculously fast in this one.
Meeting parents, flying to Paris, empty sex scenes, "move in with us" left me feeling nothing. I barely know more about these 3 than after book 1.
And their dynamic is super inconsistent and disjointed. The BDSM was irratic and also oddly "unsexy" this time. All the tension was gone after they asked her to be theirs. And so I was just bored.
Don't know if I'll read Chloes book. Even if I am intrigued in the cover.

Omg, this one was also a miss and I was furious! Again, 2 stars because each book had something terrible I hated. And I usually love this author. Like…up until these 3 books.
So. What I didn’t like in this book, really what I hated cuz I was irate. So now in this book, she’s getting punished for getting reasonably mad and upset about Ethan going behind her back to talk to her dads about her work schedule?! Like she’s not an adult for her work schedule?! Like she’s not 19 and new to this dom/sub relationship and like he didn’t know she would be upset?! No warning, no “that’s not what you do or how you act to us” education and explanation. Just an immediate “you should have known better and now you’re getting a punishment, sub”. Umm no, again not ok. Again, she was reasonably mad and upset. What the hell is this series?! Another instance here of the two doms exerting their “power” in terrible ways. Having to earn back their respect for that?! Wtf?! That whole discussion icks me out so bad when they’re making her say she’s being punished to earn back their respect. So gross.
And also, what she’s worrying about is light years from what they are. This is why real age gaps like this are a problem. She’s concerned about them leaving her and not wanting her after her outburst but really they’re 1) bad doms who again punish for communication (so fucking weird) and 2) they’re not making her feel safe. So…not ok ever. I definitely feel innocent 19-year old with predatory old men vibes.

I really don’t understand that the same author who wrote the journey of Logan and Tate has written this so shallow and so cringy story.

Avec une reprise du récit pile là où on avait laissé les personnages à la fin du tome 7, on plonge d'emblée au coeur de l'action, et on comprend qu'une partie du tome sera consacrée aux répercussions que la "grande révélation" de Chloé aura sur ses relations avec sa famille (et ça ne va pas être de la tarte ! ^^').
Ce tome permet aussi de faire des retours dans le passé, d'en apprendre davantage sur Ethan et Zayne, ensemble et séparément, et c'est quelque chose qui m'a bien plu. On sent que ces deux hommes sont des écorchés vifs, et en cela il m'est impossible de ne pas faire un rapprochement entre eux et Priest et Julien, ils ont des parcours quelque peu similaires. Je me trompe peut-être mais je pense que ça permet de comprendre pourquoi une 3ème personne dans leur petite famille apporte l'équilibre nécessaire pour que la relation amoureuse fonctionne pleinement.
Les scènes érotiques sont moins nombreuses que pour le tome précédent, et pour moi c'est très bien, car là on met plutôt l'accent sur les liens plus profonds qui se nouent, et les sentiments qui gagnent en intensité. Mais qu'on ne s'y méprenne pas, les ébats sont toujours aussi torrides et épicés, et sont accompagnés de moments plus doux, notamment une jolie escapade qui sent bon la baguette croustillante et les airs d'accordéon, si vous me suivez bien. ^^
Après, je ne vais pas vous le cacher, pour moi, l'essentiel de ce tome, c'était d'assister à la confrontation entre Chloé, les 3P et Ethan + Zayne, et alors là, je dois dire que Ella Frank m'a vraiment régalée et offert absolument TOUT ce que j'attendais pour ce moment crucial, qui est tout bonnement épique et constitue clairement le meilleur chapitre de ce tome. Tous les personnages sont excellents lors de ce passage, et j'ai adoré retrouver les spécificités et le caractère propre à chacun qui rejaillit ici, on les retrouve comme de vieilles connaissances, et Robbie n'a rien perdu de son impertinence après toutes ces années !
Entre la personnalité tout feu tout flamme de Chloé, le charisme de ses deux hommes, quelques péripéties liées à la révélation au grand jour de cette relation, et les présentations aux beaux-parents dans les règles de l'art, et bien sûr quelques scènes épicées, on ne s'ennuie pas une minute !
Voilà donc encore un beau roman de cette autrice si chère à mon coeur !

Continuing a great series.
This book continues exactly where Ethan left off, Chloe’s relationship with Ethan and Zayne is discovered by her fathers, and let’s just say, none of them are very happy about it.
I loved that you got to see a lot more of the 3 P’s in this book, as they insist on meeting the two men in Chloe’s life, it’s great to see the dynamic of their relationship hasn’t changed in the years that have passed.
The rest of this book focuses on the developing relationship between Ethan, Zayne and Chloe, whilst learning a little bit more about Ethan and Zayne’s past, and because it’s Ella Frank, expect very hot scenes between the three of them.
I did enjoy this book, as I’ve enjoyed this whole series, but my one problem with it is the same as it was in the last book, Chloe’s age, I would have liked her to be a little bit older, her age was apparent a couple of times in this book when she acted very immature, but I suppose if she’s only 19 it’s to be expected.
This book didn’t end on a cliffhanger like Ethan did, but I still can’t wait for the next book.

Somewhere between 2 and 2.5⭐s for me.
This was a rough one for me for a very specific reason.
***SPOILERS***
Parents are NOT entitled to information about their children's sex/love lives. Especially ADULT children. The entire start of the book and the blatant disrespect Chloe receives from her dads was disappointing to me, and actually really angered me. It also spoiled the way I feel about Prist, Julien, and Robbie, and I think that's what really frustrated me. I kind of wish I hadn't read the entire beginning of the book.
The way she was treated when she arrived for work at the restaurant by Robbie and Julien? Disgusting, in my opinion. I have a 19 year old still living at home, and she is entitled to a private life, and she can share that private life with me when and IF she wants to. Because we have something called HEALTHY BOUNDARIES. I get the whole overprotective dad angle, but I don't care that she's living at home. She is an adult.
“Is Papounet back there?”
“He is, and if I were you, I would stay out of his way. Our staff doesn’t need to know what’s going on, and I will not have you causing a scene.”
One; This disrespect towards her at work was not cool. Two; She was feeling insecure about her relationship with her fathers and needed reassurance. She was also NOT causing any sort of scene. The only ones with the potential to cause an scene in this situation were Robbie and Julien. Your daughter trying to lean on you and check in to make sure you love her is NOT an inconvenience.
And I would get the whole "lying" aspect to an extent, if that was the only thing they were upset about, but no. I mean, what was she supposed to say? They weren't even in an actually relationship for most of the first book, it was just sex for most of the book. "Hey dads, just letting you know, I'm heading out to meet up with these two 29 year old guys I barely know so they can f*** my brains out. No you can't meet them because they're in a relationship and I'm just there for them to play. I'll see you in the morning"? She deserved to tell them when she was ready to tell them, and not a moment earlier. And in this situation, with her 3 dads and brother breathing down her neck, and wanting to keep her personal life PERSONAL, she really didn't have a choice.
And then they get mad because she's in a relationship with TWO GUYS! Each of her dads is in a relationship with two guys. I would have understood Priest's overreaction, but Julien and Robbie? Robbie was a complete disappointment to me. And the whole "we know what's it's like to be in a throuple and you don't because you're just a silly little girl" was also a letdown. First of all, not all people are created equal, and not all polyamorous relationships are created equal. They knew nothing about her relationship to make such judgements. I, personally, am someone who doesn't feel jealousy in relationships. I never have. To assume that because ROBBIE felt jealousy so she must be as insecure in her relationship as he was at the beginning (which is a valid feeling for him), was assuming quite a lot.
“You were spot-on.” Her papa fumed. “There is no way we would’ve okayed this. Forget the lying or the fact that you’ve now dragged your cousin into this little web of deceit. There is no way we would’ve been okay with two older men dating you.”
No. Just no. To all of this. This would have been a valid reaction if she was 17. But she is 19. Mind your business. Yes, it can be hard watching our children make decisions WE believe would hurt them in the future, but those are their choices to make, and their consequences. This is how they learn.
And because this whole thing was right at the start of the book, I almost stopped reading. Honestly. I was that frustrated. These are VERY grown men. The initial shock would have been understandable and they would have needed time to process. I get it. But maybe they should question WHY she didn't come to them.
Luckily, for the most part, Zayne and Ethan made up for this throughout the rest of the book. I enjoyed the Priest and Ethan stare downs with them both being dom personalities. The soft spots both Ethan and Zayne show in this book were really nice, and the tidbits we got about their past made me like them more. Also, the senator is an a**hole and I'm glad Zayne gets to move on (hopefully? Lol).
I wish I could have loved this more. I really do. I'm such a fan of the Temptation and Confessions series so this felt like a letdown to me. But honestly, that's mostly just based on our family's version of parenting with healthy boundaries.
I don't want to be hurtful to the author because I LOVE her books. And this is a totally personal review based on our family's style of parenting. I know so many people will read this and think "sexy dads" and that's totally cool for you, it just wasn't for me.
I will say that the scene where they find out Zayne and Ethan own a sex club was funny as f***. I just KNEW Ethan wouldn't lie.
I am excited to read the last book in the series now that the confrontation with her parents is our of the way. Since it seems like the series could have ended here, for the most part (no cliffhanger), it means we've likely got some twists coming up and I'm excited to see what those are.
I would still continue to recommend Ella Frank books because I just love her, and her writing style and feel she usually drags me right into the story in the best ways. She's one of about five authors for me that will make me stay up until all hours, totally riveted, and just unable to close the book, but this one was just not it.

I will say that the scene where they find out Zayne and Ethan own a sex club was funny as f***. I just KNEW Ethan wouldn't lie.
I am excited to read the last book in the series now that the confrontation with her parents is our of the way. Since it seems like the series could have ended here, for the most part (no cliffhanger), it means we've likely got some twists coming up and I'm excited to see what those are.
I would still continue to recommend Ella Frank books because I just love her, and her writing style and feel she usually drags me right into the story in the best ways. She's one of about five authors for me that will make me stay up until all hours, totally riveted, and just unable to close the book, but this one was just not it.

⭐⭐⭐ It was good, but it could have been better
Right now I have a lot of mixed feelings and emotions. Ethan and Zayne are amazing, I really loved them. But as for Chloé, she doesn't fit in. At times she behaves mature and the next minute naïve and insecure. For a moment she is willing to stand her ground in what she wants and the next she doubts about it.
I also felt that Chloé's story with Ethan and Zayne is a reinterpretation of what happened in books 1-4. Too many things are the same.
My expectations for these books were very high and were not met.

Ooh la la!! Ella Frank has tipped the scales once more with Zayne. Starting out with the scene I couldn't wait to read where the three P's, a.k.a. Chloe's fathers, discover her relationship with Ethan and Zayne, I simply could not look away at the heartbreak left behind when all was revealed. But in true Frank fashion, the way Priest, Robbie and Julien reacted was spot on and it was hard not to feel a bit sorry for Chloe and the way she initially handled it. At the tender age of 19, she wants nothing more than to make her dads proud and live the life they would want for her. Her declaration that all that she is now experiencing with her two men is not far from what she has observed for all of her life clearly stopped the three P's in their tracks. Although it took more than one conversation to almost accept her newfound freedom and relationship, I loved that Frank portrayed Chloe perfectly with a young heart battling a just as young mind but having the moxie to proclaim what she both wanted and needed and let the chips fall where they may. I admired that about her. She is truly the strongest part of each of her fathers and even they couldn't deny it.
I mean, she's just 19 and yet the juxtaposition of her naivety in all things sexual combined with her extraordinary talent as an accomplished chef was wonderfully written. To experience Zayne and Ethan's reactions to how she submitted to both of them yet commandeered a kitchen begged the question of who was the true master.
As this book is titled Zayne, I have to dig into a bit the revelations wrt 'the Senator' and how he was both ashamed and disgusted by how his son lived and loved. I felt for Zayne, the hurt although lessening as time went by, was still there in bits and pieces. But the love from Ethan, in particular, and the well-placed flashbacks offering up memories of how he and Zayne met and fell for one another, only solidified Zayne's need to move on from the constant vitriol spewed from his despicable father giving him the strength to finally close that chapter in his life.
With everything happening between the three P's finding out about what has been going on with their feisty daughter, the scandal with the Senator and Chloe's determination to become her men's woman, I have to say that the trysts between this trio were out of this world incredible and exactly what they needed no matter what was going on around them. The airplane bedroom scene was insanely erotic and upped Frank's status as one of the best when it comes to M/M/F play. Holy hell...this throuple is on fire in and out of the bedroom and let's just say the very last scene not only solidified their relationship but had me silently moaning reading every salacious word.
I can only imagine what Ella Frank has in store for us next as the last in this series (say it isn't so!!) will be aptly titled, Chloe. There are many poignant moments mixed in with the naughty ones that kept me completely captivated by this well-written and wicked-hot story. A must-read for Ella Frank fans and for those who love decadence that is beautifully paired with the very best kind of tenderness, I happily give Zayne a huge 5 stars!

“Zayne” is the continuation of “Ethan” where both men get to know Chloé, a young chef and daughter of Priest, Julien, and Robbie.
This novel takes us on a rollercoaster ride: Layered with flashbacks to both men’s first meeting to today, we experience serious moments, then hilarious ones, and even sad ones at times, while others are sexy as hell: Their deep connection feels evident with the simplest of lines:
Meanwhile, their relationship with Chloé slowly becomes more emotionally intimate. Still, I, personally, dislike that their dom/sub dynamics extend to their daily life, because—although moderate—, it feels overbearing and patronizing at times.
The sex scenes are accentuated with rather cute and romantic moments in-between which I really like as it shifts the focus to the emotionally connection they were lacking so far.
As for the side-characters, Zayne‘s father is still the worst. Thus, I absolutely love how Ethan put Zayne‘s father in his place at their first meeting (“You don’t scare me. […] But I bet I scare you. He [Zayne] listens to me…”).
Chloé fathers are forever my favorites. However, they are way too hard on her—they don‘t really remind me of the men I came to love while reading their story. But at least they come around later with a rather amusing compromise:
Chloé’s brother‘s initial reaction feels way more appropriate, though a bit brotherly overprotectiveness is involved there (“[…] these two still have a long way to go before they get in my good graces, but I’m not going to tell you what you feel is wrong. […] It’s what you feel.”).
All in all, this continuation was quite an enjoyable reading experience.

Yet again, Ella Frank had me completely captivated, wondering how Robbie, Julien, and Priest, Chloe's dads, were going to react to her relationship with Ethan and Zayne.
To say that Chloe's dads weren't happy with their daughter dating two men is an understatement, each dealing with their shock in their own way. More than that though, their main disappointment came from the lies that Chloe had been telling them. To deal with the situation Priest calls for a dinner between the six of them and Chloe reluctantly agrees. Will Ethan and Zayne be able to convince the dad that they care for Chloe and only want her happiness?
While Ella has Ethan, Zayne and Chloe continuing to explore the dynamics of their relationship, she also delves a little deeper into the history of Ethan and Zayne's relations. Flashbacks to the past detail just how strong the bond is between the two men and how it was formed. These were both enlightening and heartbreaking.
Ella has shown that she is supreme when it comes to writing explosive MMF sexy scenes. She certainly had me fanning myself with the airplane scene and the club scene in Paris. It is not just these scenes that show the deep connection between this delicious throuple, it is also the understanding, the comfort, the support, and the love that they have for each other.
CONFESSIONS: ZAYNE gives a deeper understanding of the relationship between Zayne and Ethan. It also shows the feistiness of Chloe. More than this, it shows how important trust, loyalty and family are. I must make a comparison between this wonderful throuple and the relationship between Chloe's three dads, their makeup is so similar I can see why Chloe chose her two men, and I absolutely love it.
Another wonderful addition to this series and trilogy, I can't wait to see what happens in Confessions: Chloe.

Confessions : Zayne is the second book in Ella Frank’s story about Ethan, Zayne and Chloe. The previous book ended in a cliffhanger with the two men taking her as their date to a fundraiser, only to be confronted by Zayne’s awful father. Then the awful realisation by Chloe that her family’s restaurant is catering the event and two of her fathers are also there.
Zayne Copeland and Ethan Holt have claimed Chloe but things have got complicated with three fathers and an older brother to appease. She is theirs now and they will do whatever it takes to keep it that way.
“They’re mine. And I’m theirs.”
After her fathers disappointment at her lying to them and sneaking around, they shock her by demanding to meet her boyfriends.
Ethan and Zayne know they have to face
all three but they are both used to fighting for what they want.
They have more problems when the news about the senator, his gay son and boyfriend plus an unidentified lady causes a stir. When the press arrive at their club it’s time to escape to their estate for the showdown with her dads. They find Priest the hardest to convince especially when the bombshell about The Office is revealed.
They’ve established their roles in a dom/sub way and now it’s time to explore new roles. Chloe sees a softer side to Ethan and the fun side of Zayne. They want her to be theirs and move the relationship forward without a contract, just love and trust.
I loved hearing more about the boys time at boarding school and the events that brought them together. It was sweet how she showed them how to cook and take orders !! It was also fun seeing a rare glimpse of Ethan handing over control to Zayne.
I loved how Ethan is so sure she was meant to be theirs right from the start, just like Zayne was always meant to be Ethan’s. Can she change her life and move in with them? Can she show them a level of trust they’d never asked from her before? Looking forward to seeing how it all works out in Chloe’s book.

Ella Frank is back at it. Truly feel as though my words will never do justice to just how reading a book by Ella Frank makes me feel!
ZAYNE is the second book in the spin-off series following Robbie, Julien and Priest's fiesty daughter Chloé.
In ZAYNE we pick up exactly where we left off (and yes I will NOT be spoiling that!). I will say right now that you shouldn't really read this review on just to save you're self from being spoiled of anything minor from this book.
Grab ETHAN now and start the series there!
In ZAYNE without spoiling too hard we get a lot more of Robbie, Julien and Priest and I FREAKING LOVE HOW IT ALL UNFOLDS!! Chloé is the best and worst parts of all her father's, she is them bundled up, so you can imagine how their lives have been. Also lately she's been making some interesting life choices with meeting two men a little (10 years) her senior and well they kinda own a sex club too.
There are many fun events in this book that unravel not just focused on Chloé but that tangle with Ethan and Zayne. We see a bigger peek into how those two men become partners and the flashbacks could have their own story. I adore the peek into their past and how they share the moments with Chloé.
ZAYNE is just as every Ella Frank book does, we get a strengthening of a relationship. Communication is strong, love even more so. It will never not be fun seeing a healthy relationship flourish, and Ella makes me wish every one of her characters were real.
I binged this book in a day, and don't regret a thing. I'm content with how things ended and cannot wait for the conclusion even if I don't want this to ever end!

Confessions: Ethan ended with Ethan, Zayne, and Chloe struggling to find their way now that their relationship is no longer a secret. Chloe’s parents are none too pleased to discover that their daughter has been hiding a relationship with two older men. In that moment, we really get a sense of how young Chloe is, but thankfully she does not fall apart or waver in her commitment to her decisions. I loved how Ella wrote Chloe. She has the naivety and optimism of youth, but never becomes that stereotypical whiny teen that so many authors turn their FMCs into when things get hard. Chloe lives up to her what readers would expect out of a redheaded woman raised by 3 very different but strong fathers. I wish more authors wrote their FMCs like Chloe.
Zayne has always been the rebel and that’s not going to change. Raised by indifferent and unloving parents, he always felt abandoned until he met Ethan. Ethan was the first person to let him in and show him how to love. When they met Chloe, they found the missing piece of their puzzle, but letting her in is harder than they expected. Sharing their bed came easy, unlocking the secrets of their pasts is much harder. Add in her three fathers and an overprotective brother, and this trio has a lot of challenges to overcome to get to their HEA.
There were so many things to love in Confession: Zayne. I love how each of the characters are so very different, but also share traits readers will remember from Chloe’s dads. I adored the little flashbacks to how Ethan and Zayne met. This middle of the trilogy has a lot of heart, love, and some seriously HOT steam mixed into a story that was the perfect weekend binge read. I may have consumed this entire story in a day, but I have no shame in admitting that. I always enjoy Ella’s books and this one was no different!

Ella Frank you are one of my favorite authors, again you left me speshles with the eight book in the confession series!

I can admit that I have not read her fathers books, but omg this men only reading glimpse about them are smoking hot,and absolutely hilarious with how they was slowly releasing that they're daughter are not little anymore, and find herself not one,but two boyfriend’s🤭
In Zayne book I get to know to more ,how Ethan and Zayne relationship begin, and the development of they're relationship with Chloe.
They together was fitting perfectly, and definitely her present in they're life was the missing piece they needed.

This begins right after the unexpected meeting at the end of book one. This newly formed triad is now getting a trial by fire. People have noticed them together, including her fathers. So this middle book in the series is about revelations, intentions, declarations, and plans.
My favorite scenes of this book were with her fathers, seeing Ethan and Zayne trying to connect with them, and the dynamics between the group of six. But it’s also about growth with the triad and Chloe trying to find her place in their established relationship.
I actually like both Ethan and Zayne. They really do balance each other out, and have a way of shifting dynamics as needed. But I also like how they manage the strong-willed yet submissive Chloe. Because she’s just not one thing. She truly is a mix of her fathers with her upbringing, and she may be submissive in some areas, but she’s also feisty, fiery, and stubborn. And even though the guys seem like they have it all together and are secure, they have some personal vulnerabilities as well. Zayne is the eighth book in the Confessions series by Ella Frank. It is the second book for this couple and I am loving it.
Zayne, Ethan and Chloé are navigating new territory. Zayne and Ethan have been together for over a decade but Chloé is new to their lives and lifestyle. It’s been a month since the night they locked eyes at The Office and knew it would change their lives forever. And now, their relationship is being put to the test. Damn… this book is hot. It’s not only that though. I love seeing their relationship in the outside world. Getting to know each other outside of the bubble they felt they needed to be in. The book is full of challenges, passion, discovery, and hope. I can’t wait for the conclusion.

July 25, 2023DNF @ 32%, but let’s be real, I skimmed all the way up to it. What a fucking disappointment this couple is compared to the OG confessions throuple. Ethan, Zayne, and Chloe honestly have zero chemistry in my opinion and even worse, they’re boring individually as well. Chloe is naive, spoiled, and entitled. I’m sorry girl, but you are NOT responsible and know what you’re talking about; you’re simply immature and annoying. She has the audacity to act like she’s this hotshot woman who thinks she’s in her right to rebel and lie to her parents while she lives under their roof and works at their restaurant. Sit down. The reason your parents treat you like “a high schooler” is cos you’re literally 19. I don’t even have anything to say about Ethan and Zayne because they’re just that uninteresting. Also, “little girl” or whatever “petit fille” translates to, is a horrendous “pet name.” I don’t even think the issue is inherently with the author’s writing style or plot lines…I think it’s that I mistakenly overrated the fuck out of her books in the past 🙅🏻

It's been interesting to see where the story would take us as we met all three characters in the first book, as it continues with Confessions - Zayne. I love the chemistry between the three lead characters but we luckily seen some older characters appear from the previous series that is linked to it which gave some extra dimension to it. I hope we get some more in depth background from all their pasts as I really think we'll understand them all more. I was enthralled in the story and was intrigued to see where their romance was going. Can't wait for more!
Ethan, Zayne and Chloé are exploring more of their relationship which isn't easy with everything going on around them as a lot is affecting them but they take into stride as their feelings for one another deepen. They definitely aren't ready to let go what they have found. As they learn more about each other, the relationship continues to grow. But will it be enough to withstand everything in the end as Zayne's public affairs might get a bit more in the open?....

The whole package
Whew! I need a minute here.
I loved the first 3 Confessions books, and then the rest as well. Ethan was scorching. But in Zayne we get to see a symmetry with the original 3 books - and yet with completely different characters and a different story. I’m not sure how to describe it other than it makes me nostalgic for when I first read Robbie.
I’m completely drawn into Ethan, Zayne and Chloé’s story. Getting some cameos from Robbie, Julian and Priest did so much to bridge these stories together for me.
We get some more about the backstory of Ethan & Zayne. Their flashback stories helping to build the current feelings between all 3 MCs.
And heat. Lots of heat. Oodles. I’m not a fan of MF normally and even MMF doesn’t often do it for me. But the way the Ella Frank writes these scenes could make me a fan. If all MF was written this well I would read a lot more of it.

This is the eighth book in the series and links even further back to Try ... But in this current relationship that is building we are now two thirds through!
I love that we get to spend time with Chloé's three fathers, as they have such a wonderful dynamic. Their approval and understanding of what is building between Zayne, Ethan and Chloé is vital to it being a healthy relationship going forwards.
We also learn much more about the constancy and importance of the relationship between the two men, and have to think about how Chloé is going to become a permanent part of that. I always think that thruple relationships are fascinating to read about, because of how each person finds themselves in the trio. As Chloé is so young, even if she is used to her fathers being together, she herself has less general experience, so it is intriguing.
Sexy, powerful and engaging, another lovely book - and I am ready for the next one ... NOW!

A delicious, wild ride
This is the second book in this trilogy and it’s full of passion, plus we get time with Chloe’s three fathers. Chloe is so easy to like and even easier to fall in love with. It’s easy to see why her dad’s are so protective of her, but also why Ethan and Zayne want to keep her.
There are lots of similarities between her dad’s and the new men in her life, but for a girl like Chloe, a girl that has three fathers, it’s not surprising that with such a strong foundation of love and support that she’d gravitate to men like she grew up with, even when she’s mortified at the prospect of them meeting. Those chapters are quite amusing.
This book is an easy read, it flowed like good wine, and I can’t wait for the final piece of the puzzle to tie their story all together.

Confessions: Zayne is the second part of the Ethan, Zayne, and Chloé arc in the Confessions series. While you do not need to have read the whole series to understand this, you do need to have read Ethan first.
Zayne was an enjoyable second book in the arc, ensuring I was once again hooked on the way everything played out. Although I found many of the elements a little too easy, I was invested enough that I did not mind. I was pulled in deep, fell harder for the characters, and could not put it down until I saw where their story headed. There was a lot of sweetness with this one, with the elements that could have been angst-heavy handled a little too easily for my liking, yet it all came together it an enjoyable way.
Without a doubt, fans of the first part of the trio’s story need to give this second book a read.

Another truly epic Ella Frank book. I've loved her books from the minute I picked up her first book I connect better with some characters than others. While I love all 3 characters I must say I especially love Ethan and Zayne I always want more of them.
I liked seeing more of Julien, Robbie and Priest in this book if you haven't read any of the books I suggest you go all the way back to the beginning and really get to know these characters.
My one let down in places not overall is Chloe it's not a bad thing she's so very Robbie he grew on me. But this is book 2 and I still find her kind of irritating. But in other places I do like her.
Lastly the thing I adore about Ella is that she doesn't keep us waiting to long. But can I ask one thing maybe we get a little glimpse of Logan and Tate or at least a mention. That's just me.

Exquisite
OM.G this truly exceeded my expectations, Ella Frank delivers in this one. It always amazes me how writing a love story like theirs seems so easy. You don’t question the whys or the how’d, because it doesn’t matter.
They work seamlessly as one. The chemistry is off the charts, the connection they have is swoon worthy.
But it’s not all about that for me, it’s seeing how others react to their relationship, namely her fathers.
The story moved quickly, I swear it feels like I just started and then in a blink it was over. That ending was holy crap. Chloe may be young, but she’s an old soul and perfect for Ethan and Zayne.
An absolute must read.

Between Zayne, Ethan and Chloé they do connect and combust!!
Ella writes, I read, and I adore her writing this book is no exception.
Zayne, strong extremely passionate and totally sexual his family life has always been obnoxious and so very distressing for him.
I feel that Ethan is Zayne’s saviour, their passion and commitment to each other is perfect!
When the three P’s discover that their girl is with two men you can imagine their thoughts!
This book is beautifully written the descriptions are vivid, and I could easily visualize what was happening between the three P’s and the club in Paris..
I will wait patiently for the Chloé to read the conclusion of these delicious triad .

I just don’t feel any kind of connection with the characters outside insta-lust, and I definitely don’t understand how that morphed into love. I appreciate the author trying to take on BDSM and make it approachable, but I think “For Real” by Alexis Hall does that better. There weren’t really any moments that led to emotional ties, and the two MCs admit they have no history with romance, and yet I’m supposed to believe their trio just falls in love without a hitch?? This sub-series series arc as a whole felt like a less compelling emotional but more intense BDSM version of the OG characters, and I thought the OG character arc worked a lot better.
