Watering the Seed

Rate this book
In Watering the Seed , Giriraj Swami shares his personal spiritual realizations with honesty, humility, and wisdom. He recounts how Lord Krishna's beloved gardener, Giriraj Swami's spiritual teacher A. C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada, took such great care to water the seed of devotion within Giriraj Swami's heart. His words transport the reader into Srila Prabhupada's association during some of the most historic moments of ISKCON's development and grant entrance into Prabhupada's private quarters to witness his gentle fatherly love toward his young and sometimes perplexed spiritual child. Prabhupada's compassion for the conditioned souls overcomes all opposition with unrelenting determination and faith. You will be enchanted by his innocent, childlike humor and enlightened by his philosophical perspectives both in times of crisis and in everyday life.

A very cute-descriptive book about the attachment of a student and his guru. It taught me how to pronounce shlokas and made me closer to my roots. Eternally indebted to srila prabhupada. Can’t wait to read more books !!
