Manga creator ONE first created One-Punch Man as a web comic, where it quickly went viral, garnering over 10,000,000 hits! Along with One-Punch Man, ONE also writes and draws another series called Mob Psycho 100.
The fight between Tornado and Psychos is a lot. Wild in a good way. One punch man is out there totally oblivious of the big boss fight he is missing. lol
Great fights and good character interactions. I love Saitama so much, and Genos and Tornado interacting in the fight against Psychos is fun! Now I'm all caught up with the English phsycial releases for this story, and I'm a little bummed
Actually whack as shit that Superalloy Blackluster was Japanese the whole time (same features pre-powerup and everything) so I guess his current skincolor is meant to be tanning oil like they do for bodybuilders? Don't know how I feel about it but maybe it's better? I really don't know I'm gobsmacked
Oh my gosh the artwork in this one is amazing. When they reach the surface, the background during the huge fight between Tornado and Psychos and the little details in the buildings and the clouds was so cool. There were shadows under the clouds. At one point the clouds were even sliced in half. It was like the view out of an airplane window while watching a Godzilla fight.
Also, Genos finally did something, yay! Proud of him. Doing stuff.
Fun cover. Orochi absorbing everything to get stronger, Tornado fighting Psychos and the big bad becoming fan service. The adventures of Saitama and Flashy flash were fun. Garo downing another hero and this time looking like he might survive one punch. Tornado being protective of her sister is always sweet. The main fight heating things up and the gag at the end.

I fucking love Garou, but Tornado is one of my least favorites and this was mostly her. Also the fusion scene reminded me of the Evil Dead remake (in a good way).
Finally! The humor and big action that I've come to love about this series has returned! We've finally made significant progress in the overall arc and there were some great character highlights in this volume. I've started to fall out of love with One-Punch Man, as a lot of the more recent installments have fallen flat for me, but I think I could get back on board with the series if the next few books are as good as this one.
Impresionante!!! Los poderes de Tatsumaki en serio son increíbles pero ahora tendré que esperar no sé cuánto para ver qué pasa en la batalla con Psykos
This is shaping up very nicely for the big finale and man it’s so entertaining the action is top notch , tornado is really getting her moment to shine , and Saitama is doing his best to make me roll around laughing.
The art here is as good as it has ever been, my issue is that this story arc has gone on way too long. I really like where it has shifted in the last 2 volumes, but it took so long to get here I don't have a ton of patience left for this climactic fight. Psychos introduction was a turn I wasn't expecting and watching her power grow was also interesting, but it was like 2-3 volumes too late. Genos shows up at the end and he always has my adoration, so I'm in for now. Saitama is also around enough that I'm not ready to toss this book out. I just need them to come to a conclusion here and start a new story line, please and thank you.
I went and did it. I finished all the printed volumes of One-punch Man (technically there is one more that came out, with another coming out in November, so it's not completely dry yet). I don't know what to do :'( I'm not entirely sold on the idea of reading online...partly because I will soon arrive at the same conclusion of running out. But it is appealing to have more OPM
On the contents of this volume, more epic fights, gorgeous panels, hilarious dialogue, and a great cover. Amazing as ever.
I would like to acknowledge the equal opportunity eyecandy that is One Punch Man. For all the boobage going on there are a lot of shirtless guys in this volume hahaha.
Anyway nice to see the heroes finally working together
I enjoyed this volume! For the first time, we see Tornado really in a bind. The fight scenes are impressive, as always, but the “psychic” battles are a bit frustrating—it’s hard to get a sense of their true limits or the full scope of their abilities.
There is nothing like a new volume of One Punch Man to invigorate ones reading day! The combination of both action, humor and growth of the characters is a perfect blend in which I have never truly seen before. I can only hope that the series has a lot left in it, and that they continue to bring the intense quality that fans like myself have come to love. When trouble reaches a certain level…no matter the injuries and no matter the odds…heroes come to the rescue! Injured heroes (still nursing wounds) rally in this issue to help defeat the massive villain threat. Some of the visuals in this volume are nothing short of spectacular and I found myself playing the song “Information High” from the anime Macross Plus in my mind as I read this volume. Another super solid entry and my only sadness came when the issue was over and the waiting for the next volume began.
One Punch Man finally embraces the one true pleasure of its Monster Association arc by going as big as humanly possible. Massive double-page spreads, insane detailing on crumbling cityscapes, and Murata unleashing his horniest inner-self through the guise of cosmic horror. That last one I’m a little less enthusiastic about, but it is undeniably thrilling to watch the OPM team come together to deliver what they clearly hope to be the biggest final battle ever conceived in manga. As I’ve noted for ten volumes now, the shaky storytelling of this arc does little to buttress this apocalyptic climax, but there is plenty of delirium to be mined from Murata’s unmatched sense of scale and ONE’s video game logic, as eldritch moons made of brain cells impart godlike powers, and a character fractures the Earth’s core in order to raise an underground labyrinth to the surface.
Ah, her name is Psychos, it’s not *about* psychos. Superalloy and Garo are ridiculous, but whatever. Tornado doing her thing, Saitama needs to come settle everything.
It was funny that Tornado used their transmitters to locate and protect the team…too bad so many of them lost or didn’t have theirs on. King and Amai were the only ones responsible enough to properly communicate - though poor Amai was ridiculed when he asked for help. And of course that’s where PuriPuri kept his transmitter…😅
I’m curious if the S class heroes will change after their experiences here. I wish they could redeem Garo - perhaps another Saitama encounter will make him realize he’ll never reach his height and he’ll be another Genos. Speaking of Genos, I’m guessing he’s about to get destroyed yet again.

One Punch Man has always been pretty horny, but this volume was exceptionally horny. Like tentacles in girl’s mouths horny. Not necessarily a bad thing, just wild. It’s kind of sad that my man takeway was “it fucking sucks this won't get the animation it deserves.” Because it will be animated one day, I think within the next year actually, but it won't be good. Like I want to watch this big fight. I want to see the colors and Tornado lifting up the ocean. Still worth reading, I'm loving the side story of Saitama traveling the underground with Flashy Flash and their new monster friend. Saitama and the monster play off each other super well and Flashy Flash is stuck as the straight man in the middle of it all, literally.

Psychos gets a last minute upgrade in her desperation leading to a seriously dangerous battle as she and the Tornado Tatsumaki go all out. We also get to see the origin of Superalloy Blackluster as he faces off against the increasingly stronger Hero hunter Garou. In the mean time heroes are discovering themselves drawn to the thrill of fighting once more even though many of them are already injured. The action is still in high swing as both heroes and monsters go all out. :)
Man this series is great. The action is superb, and I love the power scaling of the heroes and villains. Something about it just really clicks with me. Might be the diversity of all the heroes and monsters and the different ways one can be strong.
Only problem I have is the extreme male gaze with which most women are drawn in these pages. Unfortunately that’s a standard of many shonen manga.
It’s a shame I’m already caught up with the released English translations. Maybe I’ll start reading fan translations online to get more One Punch Man.
It feels like the end of the battle with the Monster Association is finally in sight and I am so ready for it to be over. It's felt like this has dragged on for years. I like the battle between which took on the expected epic proportions and it is good to see some characters challenged and maybe even somewhat humbled.
King continues to be more heroic than he gives himself credit for. I wonder if he is slowly being setup to become a real hero.
First OPM volume of 2025! It took me a bit of time to get back into the story and follow it comfortably. I really loved seeing Mumen Rider (my beloved!!) as well as the other heroes rush to join and help out. Loved Saitama as always and getting to see King and Genos. I also really liked the scene with Garo and Superalloy where Garo doesn't kill/attack him because "thats not the type of evil he wants to be".
