Give me all the touch-her-and-die feels!! Between the spice and the suspense it was everything I could ask for!! The story flowed so well and drew you in almost immediately. The attention to detail when it came to the military aspect was really great to see - and impressive. I legit enjoyed this book and have already read more by this author. Looking forward to so much more!!

This was not my usual genre at all, but I thought I'd give it a try. It was an okay read for me, and it took me a little longer than usual to finish. I will say, however, that it's well written, and for everyone who likes suspense with lots of intrigue and secrets, this book will have them turning the pages, and the twists will keep them on their toes. Overall, it's a good mystery thriller that I'd recommend to fans of the genre.

Severely disappointed with this one after seeing the ratings and reviews I had such high hopes. This just felt like 10 different stories piled into one and in my opinion not done well. Also having two main characters “die” but then not die was just…….boring. Idk. Not my cup of tea

I have had the privilege of being involved with this book right from conception to publishing and all I can say is OMG. This book had me sitting on the edge of my seat right from the start. A.K. Otsana gives us a suspense-filled book that sees two people, Reese and John (A.K.A. Adam), meet and start an interesting relationship. People are not who they seem to be. Revenge, secrets, lies and intrigue are all wrapped into one amazing book. This book is well-written, full of detail as well as twists and turns.
Adam has so many masks that he wears that it baffles me how he can keep each personality straight. He knows exactly what he needs to do to seek revenge on all the people involved in what happened in his past. The one person that he needs to win over is Reese but in doing so, he falls for the one person that he can't. Reese is a means to an end, not someone that you let into your heart. Reese is a sweet and strong woman that seems to be involved in something that she has no idea she is. When they got together the chemistry is off the charts and the steam was clouding up my device. Just when I thought there was no way I could love Adam, he changes my view and ends up finding a place in my heart.
All the secondary characters are just as interesting as Adam and Reese. Being book one and having an insight into book two, I cannot wait for it to be in my hands.
I highly recommend this suspense-filled, strangers-to-lovers romance that you will not be able to put down. Congratulations my friend on publishing your first full-length book.

twisted and wild
This was definitely a book that kept me guessing. Nothing is what it seems at all—it had me on my toes every step of the way. This is more than a romance or dark romance. It’s an action movie in a book. It was twisted, dark and s*xy. It has a little bit of everything in it. Think of a thrilling secret spy and agent mixed in with an assassin-type vibe.
Adam is out for revenge, and Reece is just a piece of the puzzle to help him take down the people who wronged him. But She soon becomes much more to him: an addiction and a reminder of something to live and fight for, something more powerful than revenge.
Even though the main couple in this book is Adam and Reece, there are two other players that are a part of the story—Kevin, who is Reece’s brother and Donald, who helps Adam in this journey. There are multiple POVs, as this is part of a series and a much bigger story. The next book is going to be Kevin.
Triggers are there is mention of, PTSD and anxiety, and some self-harm as well. Nothing extremely explicit. This book deals with revenge, and there is violence and de@th that happens in it. The book ends on a bit of a cliffhanger leading into Kevin’s story.

I read Adam while it was on Wattpad and I absolutely LOVED it.
The story was incredibly well written, vividly descriptive, and entertained me so much! I loved the twists and turns. I loved Adam's character so much. He was fierce and strong.
Reese was a sweetheart but she was also strong.
The scenes between the two were just delicious.
There's some triggers in the book and @author_akotsana handles them beautifully. When it comes to mental health issues in writing, I feel that it needs to be done with caution and she absolutely pulled that off, especially with the character having PTSD.
I highly recommend this book to anyone who likes a bit of a mystery thriller mixed in with some hot romance!!!

Trust.... I wholeheartedly agree with the first paragraph of the prologue. So easy to lose and so hard to gain. I love how Adam barely knows Reese but has a desire to protect her. Inside joke already!! Cute! It's crazy to feel all the pain rolling off the pages from Adam and Kevin. Everything Adam is doing for justice is powerful on it own. Oh damn Jessica... at least Adam got that handled! WTF Reese!?! She is a what!? That crazy! Wow poor Kevin... those feelings he has after finding out about Reese are tough... Adam is one tough man! This book was explosive! WOW what a unique crazy twisted story!
This book will keep you guessing till the bitter end! If you are looking for an adventure twisted with lies and deceit and ALOT of spice then I highly recommend this one! This is a first time read by this author and I do not regret it!

Well worth the read
This book is unlike any I’ve read before. So many secrets to uncover. Deceit. Revenge. Love. Honor. All of these are somehow entangled in this story and play roles you can’t understand until you read it. Loved Adam and Reece. The chemistry was off the charts. I was not disappointed.

Unpredictable
This book is a combination of thrill, passion and surprise.
The storyline is intricate and unpredictable, and you feel like you can't put it down until you figure out what's going on, you just can't put it down, is well written and you fell like flowing with the words Into a story that will leave you breathless.

This woman has just declared giving up all of her savings to a company no less for some company water to villages etc. To a man she doesn't like or trust but he is her brother's boss. Like talking about TSTL, naive. Almost already over it, who does that like this is how I know real people out there give their money away on stupid scams.

Good and twisted
I appreciated the characters, the storyline, and the carefully crafted twist. It was enjoyable and developed, and I found it entertaining and well written. I liked that our characters had some depth and not everything was super easy. It was a good read.
