this book is a lot of fun. my only complaints are that many of the entries do not actually tell you where the street name came from but rather the history of the street itself, but that's also interesting. to me. i'm a nerd.

If you are very familiar with downtown Baltimore, this is a great book to learn why the streets are named what they are. I unfortunately know only a handful of streets. To see how their names came about definitely was interesting, but I didn't have much really to read because the rest of the streets were unknown to me.
