This full-colour publication presents a selection of the best daycare, elementary, intermediate, secondary and higher educational facilities in the United States and Canada. Projects featured in this title have been chosen from competition submissions by an American Institute of Architects jury of educators and architects who are practiced in educational design. The selected projects provide all the established services for educational facilities, and respond to current rends and new developments in the field. The designs must address criteria including budget constraints, site and climatic conditions, safety, accessibilty and the integration of technology in the learning environment.
