True stories from 1854 to1930 of orphans that rode the orphan train to find new families. Some were lucky and got good homes but some just wanted them for labor. Many of the children were given up just because family couldn’t afford them.

This book was all over the place = no order chronologically or other,
Read purely for the historical interest

A good depiction of what happens to children who lost everything. The harsh reality of what they experienced is good historical fiction.
