This series! I am absolutely addicted to it and can’t get enough of it. I loved book one in the series, but this one takes you on a much deeper dive into what happened with Lachlan’s sister, his ex and Julia’s ex husband.
The chemistry. The romance. The suspense. The mystery. I am here for all of it. I absolutely love Julia and Lachlan’s relationship. Despite their age difference, despite their pasts and the secrets that have come to the surface they continue to face everything together.
UGH….The cliffhanger endings are going to be the death of me! I love them and hate them all at the same time. I am DYING to know what is going to happen next!
If you’re looking for a reverse age gap, romantic suspense this one to read, but make sure you start with book one, Temptation.

What did I just read? My heart is still pounding! This twisted tale of love and murder captures your attention and sucksbyou in fir the duration. The tale continues with Julia and Lachlan discovering their real identities and how connected they are to each other. How uncanny that they met on the beach over a jellyfish that was so random yet somehow so fated! As details are uncovered, so much more is explained about the circumstances that have devastated both of their lives. However, their week of "no-strings no attachments" is becoming so much more to them both. The cliffy leaves us salivating for the next book which can't come soon enough!

Wow! I'm loving Julia and Lachlan's story. Consumed by guilt and what-ifs from their former relationships, neither Julia nor Lachlan have been able to move on. Could they be what each other needs to take that leap of faith and begin living life to the fullest again? I'm completely hooked on the steamy, emotional romance between Julia and Lachlan, along with the mystery surrounding their intersecting pasts.
Persuasion ends on a cliffhanger! I can't wait to see where this goes next. How much longer until Provocation releases??? We are in for a wild ride given all of these twists!

The story of Lachlan and Julia continues, and it doesn’t disappoint. Although Lachlan and Julia find themselves in Hawaii for different reasons the chemistry between them is undeniable. They agree to a one-week fling before they go their separate ways, but they hadn’t counted on developing feelings for each other or that their lives would be tied in a way that neither was prepared for.
The intrigue continues as every twist brings some closure but brings more uncertainty as well. The characters draw you in and the story is compelling as it leads up to a cliffhanger that leaves us wanting more.

Julia so deserves some happiness in her life but will she ever be free of her ex-husband, Nick. She tries for a no strings attached relationship with Lachlan but it just so happens that their lives are join together like a messy ball of yarn. Despite the connections they decide to continue with their plans until the past and their future collide and forces them to make tough decisions. Will Julia ever get her happily ever after or will she be forced to face the truth her ex-husband has hidden from her. This ends with a cliffhanger of all cliffhangers I even had to go back and read that last chapter again. Thank goodness book 3 will be out soon and hopefully Julia will find what she needs.

Holy crap what a roller coaster ride of emotions for me with this book!!! I want to live in T.K. Leigh’s mind for just one day. I can honestly say my mouth was working overtime when I was reading. It was either hanging open agape, biting my lip or muttering a curse or praise. The steam level is off the chart!! And, as T.K. Leigh does so well, she leaves us with one heck of a cliffhanger. LOVE, LOVE, LOVED every minute of Persuasion!

Wow!! This is the second book in the Temptation series and is more of Julia and Lachlan's story. It picks up at the crazy cliffhanger from book 1. Warning, this book ends on an even bigger cliffhanger. One week and no names is becoming so much more. The chemistry and heat between these two is intense. They are connected so much more than they ever expected. The suspense leaves you holding your breath to see what's going to happen next. I need the rest of this story!!!

Lachlan and Julia's story continues in book 2, picking up where book 1 left off. The story is full of tension as all the secrets these two have come to light and the number of connections between them is scary. Lachlan and Julia are so perfect together, their chemistry is off the charts and their romance is hot and steamy. You know something big is going to happen and the ending is just that, it fills in some of the mystery but leaves you wanting to know more. I can't wait for the final episode. This book is very hard to put down.

I voluntarily read and reviewed an ARC of this book. This is the 2nd book in The Temptation series. These books are not standalone and must be read in order. As in the first book this book also leaves you with a huge cliffhanger and we learn some more big twist to Julia and Lachlan's story. I don't want to give anything away but this series is amazing. Has the perfect amount of steam and sweet while giving us a good laugh also. Definitely a must read series.

OMG! NO WAY!!! Wow what an ending! I certainly didn’t see that coming and now I need book 3 ASAP! The way this storyline is weaved together is intriguing! I can’t wait to see how it plays out and the layers unfold!

TK has done it again. She goes back to her suspenseful roots in this latest series and she doesn’t disappoint. If you want a story full of twist,turns and where did that come from moments then Persuasion is for you. It will have you on the edge of your seat and not being able to put this book down until you finish it. This story gets more intriguing as it goes and I can’t wait till the Epic conclusion I know it will be.

HOT! SEXY! FORBIDDEN! AMAZING! Those are just a few words I could use to describe the continuation of Lachlan and Julia’s story. CRAZY, EDGE OF YOUR SEAT, SUSPENSEFUL, UNBELIEVABLE. Those are another set of words that work!
Persuasion, book 2 of The Temptation Series is just as mind-boggling, captivating, and enthralling as book 1. The continuation of Lachlan and Julia is what love stories are made of. The good, the bad, the ups, and the downs. And somehow that sweet T.K. seems to find it all and when she puts it to paper it’s nothing short of a miracle.

Lachlan is smart and has good family and friends that are helping him resolve the mystery around Claire. Julia doesn't come off as a strong person. I understand she's been through a lot (read Possession and Atonement), and wants to protect her daughter. There's just something about her personality that rubs me the wrong way.

Book 2 OMG we pick right up with Lachlan and Julia. And man it doesn’t disappoint. So much emotions in the book for me. I just was all over the place. I got excited, scared, all making my heart race. After dinner ish this book, I’ll be happy if I don’t have A-Fib. This cliffhanger omg I can’t wait for book 3! My mind is all over the place with this one!!

WHAT!!!!! NEVER!!!! I yelled when I got to the end of Persuasion.
The Temptation series is one of the best I have ever read, it makes my heart pound and leaves me on the edge of my seat unable to put each book down. Persuasion picks up immediately after the cliffhanger of all cliffhangers in Temptation with Julia and Lachlan's story. Secrets are revealed at the end of Temptation that made me wonder if these two were ever going to have their HEA. They are both struggling with the guilt of their past but their incredible connection to each other makes them both want to get beyond things they cannot change in order to be happy together. Unfortunately they are torn apart when Lachlan has to go back to his team and both of them have big decisions to make.
Ms Leigh brings us to a wonderful romantic finale where we can smile and shed tears as these two appear to be going forward despite the unsolved mystery that is growing ever more sinister around them. THEN I TURNED THE PAGE into the absolutely no way are you going to guess this cliffhanger that made my jaw drop. How long is it until the final book in this series?
If you love romance, hot encounters, mystery and a touch of evil in your romantic thriller you are in for the ride of your life in the Temptation Series. I received an advanced copy of this book with the promise of an honest review.
Oooh boy. Now we are really getting into the meat of this book. This one picks up where the other left off and thankfully we get a bit of a resolution from that shocking revelation.
In this book we get a little more sexy stuff (Yay!) between Lachlan and Julia, but we also get more of the mystery that is starting to unfold. It's complex and I found myself trying to put all the pieces together and by the time I finished reading, I was completely shocked!
I can't even begin to explain how much I love Lachlan and Julia. I am such a fan of the older woman/younger man trope and this one is SO GOOD. The two of them are just perfect together and I just get the warm and fuzzies with how amazing they are. And something happens towards the end of this book that is just so good.
Now we still have two more books to go, so I am sure that the author will have plenty of twists and turns for all involved and I can't wait to read them. Let's be honest....TK knows how to keep us readers on the edge of our seat and she leaves us wanting more. ESPECIALLY with how this book ended!

This book picks up right where the last one left off and it gets right to it ! Lachlan and Julia’s chemistry is off the charts these two are perfect for each other secrets are revealed and these two find out that they’re more connected then they realize the tension is high the suspense is killing me and that ending is another shocker ! The twists and turns just keep coming I can’t wait for the next book already! This book was a fantastic page turner I couldn’t put it down and I can’t wait to see how this story plays out !

Whoa… Persuasion jumps right in where we left off in Temptation!! Fake names are no longer! Julia and Lachlan aren’t “hiding” from one another, EVERYTHING is up close and personal. Do they continue their “no strings” commitment? Or do they crash and burn! In beautiful TK style, you will experience a wild ride! I can’t wait for the third book!!!

Have you ever been in the middle of reading a story and that lightbulb in your head goes off? What is that thought? For me it was, “this Temptation Series is the script for an award-winning movie!” T.K. Leigh has only increased the anticipation with Persuasion (Book 2 in the Series). Let me correct that, she has increased the anticipation, excitement, curiosity, and hotness, to be more accurate.
As this is book 2, T.K. started by pulling us off that cliffhanger ledge and allowing our feet to touch ground. With Persuasion we see our heroes growing and blossoming with understanding of their prior lives. We also see them begin to wonder what a future. The subtitle for this story is “An Older Woman Younger Man Romance”, but we all know age is relative. Hotness is universal. And when these two are together, smoldering is a better word, cause their passion burns hot and long, leaping off the page.
With each new surprise that arises, Lachlan and Julia realize there were forces beyond their control at play. Old incidents come back to haunt each of them, ghost once thought gone return and realities must be faced. I could share more but this is a path you will need to travel yourself to garner the answers.
T.K. Leigh paints a scene like no other. This story grabbed and held me from page to page. The name Persuasion does just that. It convinces you that you are on the right path without you realizing there was a path at all. And the author, well she did it again… created another masterpiece and left me speechless… in flux anticipating the next installment.
Great job T.K. Leigh. Five stars is not enough to describe my appreciation for this book!

If you thought T.K. Leigh’s Temptation ended with a bang of a cliffhanger, then you will be shocked that she upped her game in Persuasion, the second book of her Temptation series. The continuing saga of Lachlan and Julia doesn’t just give you more answers about the suspense storyline of this series. In fact, you find out more of their backstories in this book. Leigh also brings more of the heat between Lachlan and Julia, more than you find in Temptation. What I like about this series is the need for the four books. I’ll be honest. When I first saw this series would include four books, I was annoyed. I’m not a “wait for all of the stories” type of reader. Even more, I’m an ARC reader for T.K. Leigh (of course, for an honest review). So slogging through the wait of four books seemed interminable and, at first, too decadent. All of this might have seemed true at the beginning; yet, now having read through the first two books, it appears to be necessary. T.K. Leigh is carefully unraveling the emotional journeys of Lachlan and Julia, and she gives them space through this four-book series to grow in their characterization. Even more, she deftly exposes the various parts of the suspense portion of this romance. There was no moment during this book (and its predecessor) when I felt the pacing unravel. Instead, Julia and Lachlan’s journey requires all four books. If T.K. Leigh continues to write them in a way that makes her readers rabid for this romantic suspense, then the Temptation series is well worth the wait. And Persuasion, the newest book, simply adds more kindling to the growing fire of a story.

Oh my word did I love this book! I liked the first one, but I could not put this one down. It literally made me want to put my whole day on hold.
No gym.
No work.
No cleaning.
Just me, my couch, and my iPad. 😂
Unfortunately, that didn’t work out so well for me, but what did work out well was this book!
I fell for Lachlan so much harder in the one. This man is perfection in SO many ways. I had to take many a moments to stop and swoon. Julia’s growth from the first book to this book is phenomenal. I am incredibly proud of her. After everything they’ve been through individually, they deserve each other.
The plot?? It just keeps getting better. I can’t wait to continue this series. Temptation was my first book by T.K Leigh and I am now a huge fan!
What bothered me if anything was the southern stereotype 🤦🏽♀️ and Lachlan being a PITCHER for the Atlanta Hawks. If you’re not from Georgia or you don’t watch a lot of sports, you might see nothing wrong with that!
Howeverrrr, a Georgia native and an avid sports fan, I’d like to point out that the Atlanta Hawks is literally the 🏀 team for Atlanta and the Atlanta Braves are the ⚾️ team (and World Series Champs, shameless plug there ❤️) for Atlanta.
I’ve spent my whole life watching these two teams play and it definitely made me laugh for a solid 5 minutes when I first read it, but I eventually couldn’t take anymore and started reading it as the Braves 😬😂
Other than that, I’d highly recommend! Definitely check this series out, you won’t regret it!

Unfortunately, that didn’t work out so well for me, but what did work out well was this book!
I fell for Lachlan so much harder in the one. This man is perfection in SO many ways. I had to take many a moments to stop and swoon. Julia’s growth from the first book to this book is phenomenal. I am incredibly proud of her. After everything they’ve been through individually, they deserve each other.

Let me start out by saying that Persuasion is the second book in a continuing storyline filled with twists coming in hot, so YOU HAVE TO READ Temptation (Book 1) FIRST before taking this one on. And since it's the second book, I'm not going to come off of any details so I won't provide spoilers to the first book. It's not unheard of to have the second book slow things down in a series, but I'm here to say that it didn't happen with Persuasion, nope, things only escalated. The puzzle seemed to be coming together nicely when it took a left turn, which is not surprising when it comes to this brilliant author. Suspense is totally my jam, and there's no shortage to it here with a big kicker of heat in the pages. I kept reading every last page (including the acknowledgments) trying to suss out when the next book was going to come out, and Ms. Leigh said she had taken a break from the suspense to write something lighter & less murdery (LOL) for the past few years, and I wanted to make sure she knew that I'm absolutely ecstatic that she's gone back to her roots with a murdery series LOL! I'm absolutely dying inside for more so the wait will be torturous, and I know you'll feel the same after hitting your one click buttons since I HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Oh boy! I thought the first book delivered but this one shocked me even more! T.K. Leigh brings Lachlan and Julia’s love is unconventional and has more obstacles than they know what to do with. They shouldn’t be together, they shouldn’t have this desire together, they should walk away. Yet, they work together. They mold together in the best way possible despite literally everything threatening to tear them apart.
When the first book was done I was instantly itching for more. Leigh finds a way to suck you in and all of a sudden the book is done and you’re like Uhm… excuse me!? The amount of times I’ve literally gasped reading this series so far is crazy! She definitely keeps me on the edge of my seat.
I don’t want to give anything away or say too much because that’s the beauty of these books; you won’t find out until the author wants you to find out! There’s still two more books to come out in this series and I’m DYING to know what happens next. It does end on a cliffhanger but honestly, it makes it that much better. If you’re a fan of age gap romances, baseball player, stalker ex, and more chemistry than I can even think of, you need to start reading this series!! ❤️🔥 I can’t wait until the last two books come out!! 😍😍

Lachlan Hale is a pitcher in Atlanta who finds out that his sister supposedly committed suicide and he didn't believe that she did and so he went kind of berserk and his agent sent him to Hawaii where he was raised having been born in Australia, but his mother was native to Hawaii but married an Australian with Scottish connections hence the name Lachlan. He meets Julia as she is walking along the shore and gets entangled with a jellyfish and Lachlan helps to get it off her ankle an tells her what to do. Julia Prescott is in Hawaii opening a new franchise of her baker Mad Batter of which she is the CEO and the originally the chef. Julia and her assistant decide that she needs to celebrate her fortieth birthday and go out and have sex. While out they happen upon Lachlan's relative's restaurant, one that is a secret to tourists. She meets him again and neither one of them know each other's name but decide to have a week of unbridled sex without knowing each other's names and not asking anything about each other. But you know best laid plans never happen the way you think. This turned out to be one Fantastic Plot, but I knew it would be, after all its T.K. Leigh. Can't wait for the next book in the series to come out. I highly recommend this book.

So we pick up after that crazy cliffhanger. Julia realizes that the person she agreed to be intimate with for a week is a famous baseball player. Not only that but the brother isn’t he mysterious women who accosted her weeks prior.
She feels deceived and heartbroken, thinking her another man has taken advantage of her. Finally her thoughts about her ex husband doesn’t cross her mind. With her feeling becoming stronger, she knows with the age difference they can never make a relationship work.
Lachlan is still determined to find the killer of his sister and first love, with new information and more people involved, he knows noting is a coincidence. Especially how Julia basically fell into his lap.
When their time comes and end, Lachlan shocks himself when he give Julia the words she desperately wants to hear . But her stubbornness just won’t allow it. That is until her big brother brings a silver lining of everything that happened in her past that brought her to the present. A glimpse of what her future could be despite the dark cloud that still hovers.
Sooo ready for the next book, i need to know who done it and who the copy cat killer is

Book one (Temptation) left you with a wicked cliffhanger after they chose to spend one week together no names, no past, no future intentions….only now! Persuasion continues Lachlan and Julia’s whirlwind romance and intriguing chemistry. Bringing to light how scarily intertwined the secrets these two have tried so hard to keep hidden play in their connection and ever growing romance. I didn’t think I could love Lachlan & Julia more than I do after reading book one. The journey of their growing relationship is every bit as exciting as I hoped. I’m speechless right up to the end!!
