Why I read this after my low rating on the first book? Idk, prob bc I needed something easy to listen to while I got stuff done. 🥲🧍♀️
***SLIGHT SPOILERS OF BEGINNING***‼️‼️⚠️
Hmmm..where to start:
1)FMC was spoiled, selfish, & annoying when first introduced in the book. Thankfully, after she was with MMC she didn’t rlly act like that anymore. But omg it was a treachorous first chapter. She was super spoiled by her dads $, very materialistic, & talked crazy rude to her dad.
•tho it did come full circle when her dad showed his true colors so then I kinda didn’t care anymore.
2)the FMC’s Dad: uhh ur telling me he spoiled her for YEARS, walked on eggshells around her, and was described as super spineless then all the sudden was slapping her, drugging her, calling her names, etc. Whiplash?? Would’ve made more sense if he sometimes acted like that or something but it was just a 180.
3)MMC: honestly nothing notable about him. He was meh.
•there was some weird usage of “whore” and “slut” — that the fmc liked,, idkk not my cup of tea
Tropes & such -arranged/forced marriage -mafia -surprise pregnancy (later on) -No cheating, opd -Hea -virgin h (as these books always have)
Overall it was nothing special but hey, I got a lot of laundry done while listening to it 🤷♀️😭
H-Danya Belov (Russian Mafia) h-Taylor Lafford This story really makes no sense. We have a spoiled brat with no ambition, no skill, nothing to actually contribute to the story. She wasn't a good person since she thought the world should revolve around her. So anyways we meet Taylor who lost her mom and it is only her and her dad who work something with the mines. So he made an agreement with Danya, his daughter's hand in marriage for some type of land mining. Fast forward to them getting married and now she is finding out her dad is not a good person but neither is her husband who tricked her dad in giving her hand in marriage for something that was never going to happen. I stopped caring about this story at 53%. I just don't understand the basis of it. I dislike every character in the story!!!.
TW: see tags but may not be all inclusive as I DNF.
Barely made it through chapter 1 and I’m already debating DNFing (NOPE CHANGE OF MIND - I’m 3 pages into chapter 2 and definitely not finishing this book) this book. This is not Bella King style!
FMC - Taylor - virgin, annoying AF, pompous, prissy, pushy, rude, obstinate, self entitled, selfish, brat, and TWIT!
only in chapter 1 so far…
1. Grammar and name issues: * grow vs. grown - a comment she’s making to Jared/Jacob - “you’re a grown fucking man taking a grow woman to the beach when you had a GF”.
* Jared/Jacob - from the beginning Taylor the FMC has repeated that Jared is her ex but by the end of chapter it’s somehow Jacob…same person, but apparently author changed the name…I don’t like crap like that - details matter!
2. Taylor - 23 yo FMC - wannabe Regina George of mean girls
* Materialistic - outright states none of the men she’s dated make her want to leave her father money and the lavish lifestyle she gets, nor will she get a job to support herself. She’s rather die at her father estate living in the lap of luxury.
* recently broke up with her BF Jared/Jacob, but she clearly didn’t love him. Jared/Jacob lasted 2 weeks in her company (aka - 1 week longer than any other man) and if he’d have behaved for 2 more days she’d have given him her V card. I agree with why she broke up but it’s her demeanor and callousness that pissed me off. It’s not ok for men or women to behave this disgustingly!
* there’s more but I don’t have the energy to keep going. I’m done with this book and will be cautious of others by Bella going forward.

This story is pretty awesome👍. The husband is murder, mob crime boss. He has plenty of plans for him and his wife. There lives. You have to read this book.
Filthy Husband is a full-length standalone novel with no cheating or cliffhanger and guaranteed happily-ever-after. It's smartly written with world building characters and twisty storyline that captures the reader attention from start and keeps you hooked and invested and turning pages until the end. This is Taylor and Danya story. It's complex, dirty, and compelling. "Hang on to your kindle.! It's gonna be a wild ride!" It's quick fast paced, pulse-pounding, and mind-blowing. Danya is a Russian Bratva mob boss who acquire Taylor through a sale from her father for an arranged marriage for fake mine. He went to American to claim his possession. Taylor didn't know that her dad trade her for a fake mine so when Danya came she gave him hell. It was an instant attraction when they met. It contains danger, suspense, violence, lust, anger, drama, enemies-to-lovers, hate-to-love, twists and turns, danger, possessiveness, lies, secrets, deception, revelation, dominance, spanking, submission, action packed, power exchange, tension, emotion, steam, passion, love and so much more. This book was absolutely amazing.

This is definitely not the usual story of the Bratva and an arranged marriage. It’s a dual POV, which I enjoy since it gives you the thoughts and perspectives of both the main characters. Dayna is the head of the Russian Bratva who is our MMC. He is OTT and gets what he wants regardless of what needs to be done to get it. Taylor is definitely a spoiled brat whose father offered her for something that Dayna has. She is totally against this union and is basically forced into it. I don’t want to give spoilers as the story isn’t bad but I did have a couple of things that bothered me. 1- the end of the story seemed rushed. We read 300 plus pages what’s a few more chapters to ease into the end? 2- the epilogue seemed unfinished. It’s always great to have an epilogue but for it to be so quick, I feel that it didn’t do the story justice. Overall, the story is good and unusual for this troupe, there’s just a couple of things that bothered me as a reader.
I disliked this from the beginning. I did read on but was sorely disappointed. I felt the portrayal of the main female character was too much and I felt I could not relate. I DNF but made it to 53 percent of the book. This is rare for me to give such a low score. I will continue to read books from this author and hope they are better than this one. If not she will lose a reader.

I received a free copy of this book and I am leaving an honest review. This is a great book. At the beginning of the story I so bad wanted to hate the characters but I feel in love with them as I watched them grow and change as they fell in love with each other. The depth of character growth and development is amazing. The spice is very nice. The action and drama will pull at your heart. Awesome story!
This book was not like the others I read from her. It’s rushed and not as spicy 🌶️. I love the plot and all but it seems a lot of time was missed. Over all it’s good and some missing pieces. The main female is very spoiled to the point to made me mad a lot with her tantrums which they bring up she may be bipolar but ends with that conversation nothing else. The battle with the red people was too rushed and to easy to end.
Idk if i should rate the book right now cause i just finished it but the thing is that normally this book its anywhere between 3-4 stars and im going to give this book 3 starts but i do like the book a lot and i do recommend to read it but it did made me a little angry sometimes i dont like the fact that she forgave him so easy for killing her father like its crazy anywayysss I do like the book so read it ajajaj

This was Danya and Taylor's book. She signed her life away to a filthy bratva boss. A beast she can never hope to tame. A man who wants to control her. But she didn't have a choice. She was cast out of her family. Traded to a mafia boss she barely even knew. And now, he’s her possessive husband. It was an intense read. I just love this author. And am voluntarily leaving my review.
The author has given us a heart pounding story that pulls us into the lives of Taylor and Danya. The story keeps us turning the pages with an arranged marriage, connection, danger, action and steam.

This was a storyline that was a bit far fetched, a submarine from Russia to the Antarctic in no time at all. Mining diamonds in the Antarctic. As a romance it didn’t seem to gel quite right either.
It was nice to see the girl own up to being a complete spoiled brat, and completely useless for any type of job. Luckily her husband has her number, and can handle the mood swings, and tantrums. Different in the enemies involved. Not your usual rival family drama.
