I was in love with Cassandra M’s work before but this book was so much more!!

I was well & truly sucked in whilst reading, Beneath Her Darkness: The Alpha’s Little Demon. Absolutely loved Lucy & Adan!! Could not wait to read book 2 of the Saga❤️💙

After not being able to enjoy the pleasures of random hookups any longer, the clock ticking by & desperate desire to produce a heir. Adan decides to attend an Omega Feast. He decides on an Omega breeder as to not complicate his life. Where he finds Lucy.

Demon Princess Lucija/Lucy the orphaned omega found out when she was younger that she was born to a Demon King & an Omega she-wolf. Making her half-demon & half-omega. Alpha Adan Stone, at 28 years old, hadn't found his mate yet and never found pleasure anymore in every female he encountered. On the other hand, Lucy, a half-she-demon, half-she-wolf, hid her demon identity in an orphanage and was eventually sold to the Omega Feast to be auctioned to the highest bidder.

Adan was forced to attend the auction, and that was where he found Lucy. He bought her to be his breeder but found himself truly mesmerized by her. The story was a rollercoaster of emotion as Lucy slowly revealed her identity to Adan.

What I love in this book is that Adan loves Lucy even without the mate bond. He even defended her against his grandfather. Second, Adan accepted Lucy for what she was... Even the uncontrollable Beast, his wolf, was mesmerized by Lucy. She was the only one who could tame him.

The bond between them was exceptional, and the plot kept me on the edge of my seat, often leaving me wanting to know what would happen next. The book ends on a cliffhanger, but book two is available soon!

This is the first story Cassandra wrote outside of her regular shifter novels. I can tell that she nailed this one!

I love the story line! It gives you a shock factor especially the start but as always, Just trust the process as the main characters will definitely redeem themselves. I love how smitten Alpha is and that their history goes a long way back. The connection they share is so beautiful. I love reading Lucy’s reactions - she’s so unassuming and so completely lovable. The side stories are also very interesting and truly worth the read! The cliffhanger - oh my gosh. Better read the continuation asap! Another great book from the great author :)

Beneath Her Darkness: The Alpha’s Little Demon absolutely swept me away. I love all Cassandra M’s books but this book holds a special place in my heart. The moment both characters were introduced in Stealing The Heart Of My Alpha I knew I couldn’t wait for their book.

Lucija (Lucy) is a mixed breed, half werewolf, half demon. She grew up with her Omega mother and step father. At the age of 6 Lucy accidentally summons fire making her father, one of the Kings of the Underworld aware of her birth. I loved this book! It is, hands down, one of my favorites.

Adan is a dominating wolf shifter who meets Lucy, a hybrid wolf shifter. Lucy is a sexy, quick-witted demon princess on the run from her father, the Underworld king. Lucy flees the underworld, goes into hiding, protects her real identity at all costs, and poses as an Omega. Unfortunate circumstances lead Lucy to being sold off at the Omega Feast auction.

Adan is struggling with his wolf Beast, one step away from going feral. Beast and Adan do not see eye to eye. Beast craves his mate, and Adan needs an heir, as he is the Alpha of the Mystic Pack and not getting any younger.

Adan and Lucy have steamy chemistry from the very beginning. Beast connects with Lucy. Lucy struggles with darkness and wants to embrace her wolf side, leading towards the light. Lucy's wolf side is hidden, and she has not shifted yet. Adan finds himself falling in love with Lucy. Certain events leave Lucy no choice but to return to the Underworld. Will their love survive?

This plot is entertaining and full of twists and turns. This story is binge-worthy and will keep you locked. I loved the story being dual POVs, which adds to character depth and understanding. There are some emotional parts and steamy scenes in this paranormal romance.

Did my omega miss me?

Beneath Her Darkness is an epic love story that crosses all bounderies between species and realms. A book I loved and enjoyed reading.

Lucy is a confident she - demon half she - wolf hiding in the human realm from the Demon King Lucien, her father. After spending 7 years in the Underworld, under her father guidence, Lucy ran away. Lucien has a secret purpose to keep Lucy in the Underworld and make her his heir, she is his only daugther from hundreds of males offsprings.

Adan Stone is a 28 years old mateless alpha, with no offsprings, and a wolf in a verge to go ferral. In search for a breeder he lost the interest, until the moment he sets his eyes on an omega. Lucy is the only one that can tame his wolf, Beast.

What I love about Adan and Lucy, is that they would do everything for each other, for their love. Both going to depths to protect the other. Adan was willing to go to hell for Lucy, and he did. Before going to hell, he made preparations to protect his Luna that his heart chose. Lucy bound her life to his, to make sure her father will not be able to unalive him. Lucy used everything she found in her way to find a way out for Adan. Which makes the world building so good and detailed about the werewolves packs and mates, but also about the demon world and the powers they hold. The witches are also playing an important part.

Humor and steamy moments are the flavours of this book. The attraction between Adan and Lucy is undenyable from the first eye contact. Their constant banter while Lucy pretends to be a meek omega and Adan a growly alpha is something I enjoyed.

My favourite moments are when Lucy first tranform into a demon in front of Adan, without hesitation he was attracted by her in all her forms, and his excitment was obvious. The other favourite monent is when they found out something important to them, you'll have to read to find out.The way the author described from both Adan and Lucy povs, it was well and intense as they were in a tough situation, but also beautiful.

I recommend this book to anyone who wants to get in a spicy demon world.

All I can say is HOT DAMN!
I was addicted to this book- couldn't put it down.
I enjoyed reading this book- it was well written, there were so many twists and turns of events throughout the book, the character development was great, and that cling hanger at the end- was great (but also not cool at all!!!) Makes me desperate to jump into the next book. There was a very fair share of spice in this book. I enjoyed the different perspectives that this book was written from, and not just Adan and Lucy.
I love that this book is interconnected to the Black Shadow Pack series but can be read as a standalone, I was excited to know Alpha Adan was getting his own book when introduced to him in the BSP series since he's cousins with Alexa.

BUT I think Lucy steals the show in this book- she's a firecracker of a FMC- she's a she-demon x wolf shifter, she's fiery, an absolute goddess and knows her worth!
Adan is a roller-coaster of emotions- grumpy, rude, arrogant, sweet, sometimes like a golden retriever following Lucy's every word and action. Overall, he's a sexy hot blooded alpha male wolf you cannot help but fall in love with.

Also I really want to note- their wolf names are soooooo matching and adorable, and the fact that Adan called her that nickname a few times- melted my heart!

I first fell in love with Cassandra's Black Shadow Pack series. Then, she started the Into the Darkness series. What I love about this series is how she developed a whole new world , while keeping some connection to the wolves/characters in her other books. Indeed, Adan and Lucy's story takes a lot of twists and turns and introduces Cassandra's readers to demons and the underworld. I really enjoyed how Cassandra wrote her version of demons and the underworld. She tells so much more than just a steamy romance story (though I loved that part too). This book has an interesting and compelling plot, and I fell in love with so many of the characters and their stories. I am sure you will love this first book so much, that you'll be glad the next few books are already finished so you can go straight to reading them! :)

This was a fantastic story.
I went into the story blind and it was so worth it. The story follows Lucy and Adan with other great side character storylines.
Lucy is running away from her father and hiding who she is. Adan is an alpha that needs to find his mate or someone he can tolerate enough to sire an heir. Both meet by chance.
Their story is unique and full of suspense, emotional moments, connections, and steamy romance. I love Adan and Lucy’s relationship and how each is fighting for the other, no matter what. Especially when Lucy’s father finds her and take her back to the underworld.
The story does end in a cliffhanger but finalizes in the next book. I can’t wait to read the next book.

Whoa. This was such a great werewolf romance read! Also, this story was sooooo much more than just a werewolf romance. It has all the delicious werewolf moments but also has magic, Gods/Goddesses, the underworld and a thrilling plot! I loved every moment!

There were so many amazing moments that had me on the edge of my seat, grinning and swooning. I couldn't stop reading this book. I had to know what was going to happen next. The story grabbed my attention from the very beginning and kept me on the edge of my seat. It felt complex without being overly complicated and packed in a lot of details without heavy world building! KUDOS.

Give me an extra grumpy alpha ANY DAY! Besides a delicious, demanding and bossy alpha there is a smart, sassy and bad@ss FMC. Here for it! The tension, banter, steam and spice...oh the spice...were all so spicy and delicious.

Lucija is the strong and funny FMC we all love to root for. She is no meek thing, even though she has to pretend to be for the sake of hiding her identity. If you love wolf shifter romance you will fall in love with the characters of Beneath Her Darkness. There are plenty of wolves for you to devour while reading. However, with some demons thrown into the mix you will be blown away. Plenty of banter with serious undertones throughout the book you will be hooked. Alpha Adan Stone is as serious as most Alphas with a bit of chip on his shoulder. He needs a hot blooded half demon half werewolf hybrid in his life to melt his heart and spice up his life in all the best ways. Books ends on a cliffhanger but it just leaves you chomping at the bit and wanting more. Don’t worry. Book 2 will be out soon after. Our lovely author Cassandra M won’t leave you waiting for long. In the meantime if you haven’t read her other stories, I highly recommend starting her Black Shadow pack series while you wait for this release.

I was given an ARC of this book in exchange for an honest review!! I can't say "ENOUGH" about this book by Cassandra M!!! She has outdone herself!! It had me in its grip from word one until the last word!! I didn't want to put it down, but I did have to sleep lol!! 😂
Phenomenally well written, flowed seamlessly and effortlessly, excellent plot/storyline, well detailed full three dimensional characters and the list goes on and on!! I felt pretty much every emotion! I laughed and I cried & even hated(you know who of course)!
Lucy and Adan, of course, were my absolute favourites!! If I could give this book more than a five star rating I would in a heartbeat!! Congrats and kudos to the author on a job very well done!!! 👏👏👏

This is the second time I’ve read this book and it’s even more wonderful than the first time! Adan and Lucy’s story is one of true love. All of her books are amazing and this is slightly different because it includes wolves and other supernaturals. Each chapter keeps you on your toes wanting to know what happens next! I love that even though story is based in a different location, it is still connected to her other series and on the same map. Thank you for another great read and I can’t wait to keep reading more. I know anyone who reads it will enjoy it.

At first I was skeptical about reading this book since it was so different from what I’m used to reading but I am happy I read it. The love story of Alpha Adan and Lucy is what most girls dream of having in a mate. I can’t wait for the next installment of this series since it ended on a cliffhanger. The author is an amazing writing and I definitely recommend this book. Trust me you won’t regret reading this book.

Adan is a strong grumpy Alpha in need of an heir since he still hasn't found his mate. Enter Lucy the supposed meek omega with a sassy mouth. Lucy is hiding secrets and her true identity, but as the couple learn more about each other the chemistry sparks. This book is loaded with emotions, sassy banter and steamy scenes. One of the best supernatural stories I’ve read lately. Storyline is different than others, strong but not annoying lead characters, just enough spiciness. I enjoyed the ride and couldn’t put the book till the last pages. Of course it ended with cliffhanger which made me sad a bit but even after a few days I am still wondering what’s next and I cannot wait for the next book.

Holy dang I loved this book. It was fun stepping into a different part of cassandra world and meeting new characters. Lucy and Adan story is full of twists and turns, sorrow and sacrifice, Love and heartbreak but I promise there is a HEA. There is spice and there are times you want slap a couple of male characters upside the head for being idiots.

I first discovered Cassandra M through Goodnovel, and I’m so excited to see her work on Amazon! She is well-known for her books in the werewolf genre, but Beneath the Darkness adds an extra fantasy element. Not only does it take place in the werewolf world, but it also intertwines with the demon underworld.
Adan is an Alpha whose wolf is going feral, terrorizing those around him because he has yet to find a mate at 28 years old. Desperate for a solution, he is convinced to attend the Omega Feast in hopes of finding a suitable mate—or at the very least, someone who piques his interest enough to give him an heir.
Lucy is half-werewolf, half-demon. She grew up living among the werewolves with her mother, but after her mother’s death, her demon father took her to the underworld. Seven years later, she managed to escape and found refuge in an orphanage. To stay safe, she lied about her age, claiming to be two years younger than she really was. When she turns 18 (or so everyone believes—she's actually 20), she is forced to attend the Omega Feast, where she meets Adan.

I loved Adan & Lucy's story. I was hooked from the first chapter & couldn't wait to see where they took me. This is my first book from Cassandra M, and it won't be my last. I foresee myself spiraling through her books.

Adan is broody, and Lucy is fierce. Lucy is exactly what Adan needed in his life, and Adan for her. I loved the side characters and the world she created. This isn't just a shifter romance but there are demons & witches with their own magic systems.

Cassandra writes some great spice ! In my opinion, the spice did not take away from the plot. She does a great job balancing the spice and plot.

This book is a duet and there's a cliffy 🤯. I'm also so excited to read about the side characters in their books
