Kemal Gavilan has returned to Mercury and is accepted by his uncle, though warily. In doing so he betrayed the Dancers of Mercury and his connections with the NEO of Earth as well. But he had to do that to save the life of the Dancer, Duernie, and to find out more about the secret laser his uncle is building. A laser capable of destroying whole cities from a distance.
The book takes up the tale of Kemal but is set in the Buck Rogers in the 25th Century RPG game from TSR.
