First there’s a corpse in the condo. Then a fortune in artwork goes missing. The lead investigator is a publicity hound, and there’s a hurricane bearing down. To top it off, Ginny’s former boyfriend, Joe Donegan, believes the police are looking at her for insurance fraud and murder.

With the help of her friends and her trusty dog, Remington, it’s up to Ginny to find the paintings and the killer before the storm wipes everything away.

Fantastic! I love this series and have been looking forward to this book. It was well worth the wait! Ginny and Remy take a little trip and end up in the middle of another mystery. Sweet, funny, and suspenseful. Highly recommended!!

When Ginny and her German Shepherd, Remy, along with her sister Liz, arrive on the island where the condo Ginny has inherited from a recently deceased artist friend is located, the vacation is decidedly off to a bad start when Ginny unlocks the door to find "A Corpse in the Condo".

This was a real page-turner of a murder mystery. There was a lot of action and enough twists and turns to keep you from guessing who the killer is. I did have a suspicion about who it was, but didn't have anything to support it until the actual reveal.

The main characters are well developed and I especially enjoyed the back and forth exchanges between the two sisters. Not having read the first two books I wasn't sure of what the back story was between veterinarian Ginny and her old high school sweetheart, Joe, but there's enough fill-in detail snuck in here and there that it was easy enough to figure out that they're feeling out the second chance opportunity for a romantic relationship.

There's nothing quite like the excitement of an Agatha Christie type reveal with all of the suspects gathered in one room. There's a hurricane outside trying to break in and it's making everyone jumpy as it throws its heavy wind and tree limbs against the windows. With lots of liquor it isn't long before everybody's dirty laundry is starting to spill out and it's becoming clearer on who the murderer is .... just as the lights go out!

I highly recommend "A Corpse in the Condo" by author M.K. Dean.

I was given a free ARC from the author, and I am freely giving this review.

Ginny gets the feeling that something is amiss with the condo she has inherited . She invites her sister Liz to join her on a road trip to the barrier island to check it out. Things don't go as plan when upon arrival Ginny discovers a corpse in the condo. Ginny and Liz are hysterical in a way only sisters can be as they try to figure out what is going on in the condo development. Another fun and exciting installment to the Ginny Reese series. Although this can be read as a stand alone I recommend reading the first two books. Ginny finds herself in sticky situations (investigating murders) but my favorite part of the series are the developments in her personal life. If you love cozies especially those featuring a dog as a side-kick I highly recommend this book. Looking forward to reading more Ginny Reese mysteries.

Loved this!!

This is definitely at on my list of top favorite series!! I can’t get enough of Ginny Reese!! She is a total bad a$$!! Don’t get me wrong, she’s totally real and relatable, with her strong insecurities and people pleasing ways, but don’t mess with her animals or anyone she loves!!! This includes the yummy Sheriff, Joe Donegan!!

All Dean’s mysteries are masterfully written and always a complete shock, no matter how much I try to figure them out!! I NEED MORE!!! If you like a good mystery, with an animal vet as the FMC, family, friends and a yummy romance interest, you definitely should read this series!!

Love reading well woven cozy mysteries and this book certainly fits that bill. Great mystery that has lots of twists, suspense, and intrigue - definitely put my sleuthing skills to a test. Loved the characters and getting to know them more and whats happening in their lives as I have read the prior books and have become intrigued with their lives and pursuits. Great and intriguing stories as a series and/or standalones.

I liked Joe more in this one and his turning up to help and supporting Ginny in her sleuthing efforts made for a more enjoyable read. On the relationship front tho I do understand why Ginny is a little gun-shy I wish they would just talk to each other. It is obvious they are interested in rekindling things just freaking say so and clear the air about the past so they can move forward. Ginny once again goes viral proving she will do anything for her dog.

Another good one!

Book 3 was good. The relationships move forward and we left Greenbrier to check out the condo Ginny inherited from Amanda. While the story didn’t move forward as easily to me as the two previous ones, I still enjoyed it. The wrap up was bittersweet. Remy is still a good boy!!

M.K. Dean has done it again! This is such a delightful series, full of playful snark, humorous moments, a wonderful slow-burn romance, and of course, mystery! Ginny and her sister cracked me up, and Oh...the mother comments...golden. Then there is dreamy Joe and adorable Remy... five stars!

I loved this book and I love the whole series. There's a vet, a dog, a hot sheriff and now, a complicated sister. We are getting to know Ginnie's whole family. Very Agatha Christie!

It's probably my least favorite of the three, but still a solid 4.5 stars. I love the author's wit.

Nice enough. But I didn't like the change of place. I prefer hometown setting.
It would be nicer if there were more vet stuff going one.
