Science The The Ultimate Thinking Machine & Fire and Life. Every gorgeously illustrated Science Comics graphic novel offers a complete introduction to a particular topic. “Perfect for kids hungry for science.”
Read it in a day. A student gave it to me from the elementary school library after doing a lesson on the brain.
Seriously, I think this might be the best book ever written in neuroscience…or at least that I’ve seen. I’ve been studying psychology and the brain for 25 years and I learned something new in every page. Good, useful things I’d never heard. And it’s written where kids can understand it too.
I know it sounds crazy, but this book, y’all…!
(To be fair I didn’t read the volcano one - but goodreads only had them combined. But I love volcanos so maybe I’ll look that one up too.)
