Rate this book
She Danced Me a Story is the delightful, heartbreaking, and dreamlike tale of a 10-year-old girl, her atheist dad, and their family and friends as they experience the rollercoaster of thoughts and emotions faced when a child they know and love is diagnosed with terminal cancer. Jam-packed with jollity, heartbreaking stories, and surreal, archetypal dreamscapes, She Danced Me a Story will make you laugh, cry, and dream bigger thoughts about what it means to never give up, to keep on smiling, and to redeem the time…

… always remembering that, one day, we, too, shall die.

If you have experienced anything life-changing, miraculous, or otherwise inexplicable that you believe is directly related to Sami and the #TeamTinyDancer family… you are not alone. Please share your story with us by TeamTinyDancer@gmail.com

In 24 hours, I read the fantastical biography of Samantha Bannister. I cried, sobbed, wept, laughed, felt joy and everything in between. I felt it fitting to take these two photos in front. Y bookshelf which holds my religious texts.as well as a copy of The Complete Tales of Winnie the Pooh. This is a must read, I don't care what you believe, read this. Ride the Rollercoaster of every emotion, feel the wind in Sami's hair as she races, marvel at her care for others facing a 20 hour surgery, scream with her when she can't do what she used to. Follow Jeremiah Bannister and Angela L Bannister down to their Hell, sing with Ren Faire clans as they welcome #PrincessSamie as their Princess forever, feel the depth of love of her siblings, travel to London, help Doctor Who save the world, learn what it is to love into a million pieces. Bear witness to Nana and Aunt Curly has they obey God's calling to stay by Sami's side when her last breath leaves her and her soul soars to the Heavens with God's Angels.

Moving and Wonderful

The story is not only a heart and soul grabbing journey, but is also full of details and interludes that nurture the imagination and provide some heavy symbolism for your brain to chew on. But good luck having time to think, as you will find yourself desperately devouring more of the book for all of the touching details.
