More than I expected

I liked the inclusion of exercises that I can do to improve upon myself by working on issues I have to be my best self.

I liked the inclusion of evidence based facts.

If you're looking for a book about tricks to manipulate men in your favour this isn't it. This is an uplifting book designed to help women become their best selves and enjoy meaningful relationships.

I found the book informational and easy to read. If you’re looking to improve self confidence and awareness without added opinions/instructions, then this is a good read. There’s definition breakdowns, brief psychoanalysis, and personal experiences in each chapter. So much in such a short read.

Great Mash up

It’s a great Cole’s notes of many different phycology’s surrounding human behaviour. I would recommend branching out further and take this as a light hearted read.

Be All of Your Beautiful Feminine Self

I'm not quite sure what I was expecting when I chose this book at a review site. I've always been intrigued with exploring concepts having to do with feminine energy, whether metaphysical or psychological. The term femme fatale is often used negatively and even pejoratively, and I was curious to discover how this author would reclaim it. As someone who values surface beauty very little, I wasn't wild about the chapter that focused on how a woman should enhance her physical look to embrace her inner femme fatale. Luckily, though, this book is not just about surface things. The chapter on femme fatales in art and life intrigued me. I was pleasantly surprised by the nine 9 qualities of a femme fatale that the author teases about in the blurb, as well as the 5 secrets of seduction—and that’s not what you think, wholly anyway! The brief chapter on verbal and nonverbal communication has some real nuggets in it!

I think there's a danger often in seeing the world in terms of black and white, and there is some element of that in this book. Feminine energy is seen as dark and light, with dark feminine energy being seen as the classic femme fatale. As we are becoming more conscious of gender fluidity in modern times, I think we should also embrace fluidity in other areas. Rather than see feminine energy as either/or, let's see it as a spectrum or a complicated whole where we can choose to act from a variety of places for whatever best suits our needs at the time.

But I digress! What I thoroughly enjoyed about this book are the two chapters on the nine qualities of a femme fatale and the five secrets of seduction. These are no shallow discussions about shallow topics. Instead, they were surprisingly deep and gave me much pause for thought about how I approached certain situations and how I can be more true to myself with the sometimes more challenging aspects of existing in the modern world. I like how in this section the author stepped away from we/you/they discussion style and was very honest about her own struggles with the “qualities.” That brought the book alive with a resonance that pleasantly surprised me. This isn't just about the simple concept of embracing dark feminine energy and seduction. It's about being true to yourself--all aspects of you— being your best self, and having the confidence to simply be you, in all your complex feminine glory. If this concept intrigues you at all but you're a little turned off by the concept of “femme fatale,” don't let that stop you from checking out this book. I was certainly glad I did, and I hope you will be too!

There is a system to help boost a magnetic allurance, such as makeup, fragrance, and body type.
