Prepare for a wacky, hilarious adventure filled with aliens, vampires, and magical bunnies!

Meet June Santiago, a spunky, geeky middle schooler who is having a fantastic summer break reading comics, playing video games, and tending to her giant flying rabbits. Out of all the things she loves to do, her favorite pastime is hanging out with her two best pals, a grumpy goth vampire named Simone and a free-spirited hippie named Clover. Little do she and her friends know, they’re in for the adventure of their lives.

The girls’ summer break is thrown upside down when Clover meets her new neighbor, Zane. There’s something suspicious about that boy– June is sure of it! He eats bugs, blinks sideways, and also, he’s green, for crying out loud! Clover thinks June is being judgy, but June has never been more sure of anything in her twelve years of living: Clover’s boyfriend is an alien!

It doesn’t take long for June’s suspicions to be confirmed. Zane and his family are aliens from a planet called Reptune. Zane’s evil Uncle Oort takes over their beloved world, the Cloud, after dethroning his own brother and taking over Reptune.

Oort’s minions pillage the girls’ once whimsical world filled with magic and technology, and most of its citizens are kidnapped and taken to Reptune. It’s up to June and her friends to defeat the invaders and save the Cloud and its people. Will they be up to the task, or will the planet forever be under Oort’s rule? Join June, Simone, Clover, and Zane on this zany adventure of a lifetime to find out!

Cate Goodale has been drawing since she could hold a pencil. When she is not drawing or writing, she spends her free time playing lots and lots of video games, watching animated shows, doing artist alley booths at comic conventions, and listening to symphonic metal music. Cate is originally from Kentucky and now lives in Indiana (ew) with her husband and their bunnies, Hades and Lancelot. Cate thinks it feels really weird to write about herself in the third person.
