Heroine has dated the son for a year. There are quite few sex scenes on page with the son. The boyfriend has "mommy" fetish. Heroine lusts and love after her boyfriends father whole that time. She is O-B-S-E-S-S-E-D in an unhinged way. She wants to be the one for the dad, because she sees how dad (hero) and the wife argue. How the wife is always a bitch to hero.
Heroine discovers the wife is cheating. Follows her around then 2 weeks and makes pictures/proof. She discovers she and her affair partner are going for Pahama for a week, so she plans to stay behind and tell hero everything and seduce him. She trick the boyfriend to go for a trip at the same time also, claiming stomach bug etc.
So she drugs and ties hero up for 6 days. noncon him. Lots of BJ-s etc. Hero is not into her at all at start. Is heartbroken because his wife. Calls her stupid bitch. Anyway stockholm syndrome kicks in and heros inner deviant is unleashed. By the end of week he is doing all kinds of nasty stuff with heroine in his free will. He also tells heroine to kill his wife and affair partner, so they can be together.
She agrees. Lots of unhinged sex on page, including drugging and SA the wife together. Like 50% of the book is pure sex.
Heroine cuts the break lines of the car and one hour later dumps the boyfriend, because he demanded sex and she did not want to "cheat" on hero. Boyfriend punches heroine, almost murder-suicide, but since hero walked in, he only kills himself. He never knew she was with his father.
Investigation etc. It turns out mother and son have been going at it for 5y, since the wife started to treat hero especially bad. Mommy dumped the son and since heroine did also, that was breaking point. It was deemed son killed mommy, investigation closed.
HEA for heroine and hero.
4 stars because hero cheated on heroine with a man (before the murders). He even understood heroine can never find out. Threesome and sex with other ppl were okay when heroine was present, but not without her. Hero wanted to know if he was BI.

*Literally* Crazy
I swear HJS writes the wildest, craziest stories that I could never even think of. And dear god, they’re so 🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️ This one was so twisted and full of TWs - like a lot of TWs, so y’all watch out! I saw in a reader group that someone asked for a sequel. This book is a standalone, but Lena and Merrick have so many fantasies that I could easily see another book being written about exploring them more now that they have their HEA. 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥

DNF at less than 50% not my cup of tea. Was super excited to dig in but the young fmc sticking vibrators up the older mmc was my turn off. Mmc has no balls let’s everyone including his wife walk over him, same with fmc who does what she wants with him. I like my men as alphas.

DNF 46% in. Just couldn't keep my interest at all. Sounded so good, so dark and taboo but I was completely disinterested in the characters. Couldn't force myself to finish it.

This book was really good considering how nuts the characters ended up being. The FMC is obsessed in a weird crazy way for the MMC who is her current boyfriend father. The current boyfriend icked me out honestly with all the mommy stuff especially as the FMC was the Dom in that relationship. There were like four graphic sex scenes in the beginning of the book between the FMC and the son/OM that I could have done without. The whole “adult-napping to make you love me”, thing the FMC does was done very well if a bit quick and easy. Then the twists of the cheating wife having an affair with another man but also with her son, the FMC’s boyfriend, was a bit much for me. Especially as we see none of it on page except for a moody kink by the son when he is with the FMC.
We also never find out why it started. Apparently it’s insinuated that the son drugged his mother and then they just were together?! The wife/mother then starts having affairs elsewhere and treats the MMC like shit with no end in sight. That makes no sense. If the mother was assaulted by her son then how did they end staying together for five years. How does her treating the MMC like she wants out going to hide that. She was also lying to her affair partner about a nonexistent divorce but at the same time she ended her relationship with her son seemly out of the blue. Like nothing was really revealed other than the two situationships she was having.
As for her being bumped off, I always hate that as a solution to a OW/villain in a story. I prefer that any villains live long miserable lives after all the things they did wrong in the story. That’s just me though. I did feel so bad for the son/boyfriend of the FMC. He had to have needed help and no one noticed or cared. It was just sad to me.
The HEA would have been better with an epilogue a few years later. But the book still had a decent enough ending. Leaving the reader with hope for a better happier future for the main couple. But were abused and both found love within their crazy. I would love to read more by this author but I think I need a breather. I have become a lazy reader. I want guts punch situations at the beginning and grovel and HEA for the rest of the book. This book is an actual story that you have to follow all the way through for the impact. So not exactly a quick to the point read. That’s just me though. It was well written and was full of steamy that never really got boring. It fit with the characters and the plot line. Which is usually not the case. Enjoy.

Wow! Ok...I wasn't prepared for this book lol. Lena was definitely one crazy b*tch. How do you make your boyfriend's dad fall in love with you? You kidnap him and tie him to the bed of course! duh! ;) this book truly was so out there! Really couldn't put it down because I had to see what she did next. So why not 5 stars? I did have a bit of a problem wrapping my head around how Merrick could go from a straight, vanilla s*x, loyal (if not clueless) husband to - well to what? How to explain him post kidnapping and Lena influence? Guess you'll have to read it to see ;) haha! Enjoy!
