Famous French archaeologist, a specialist in ancient Egypt. She was deeply involved in the rescue and preservation of Nubian monuments in the face of the Aswan Dam Project of the late 1950's.
Mostly skimmed the text. Enjoyed all the photos. Recently read 'Empress of the Nile" which went into detail about the excavation of several of the tombs.
A complete examination of the contents of the tomb and funerary rites practiced at his internment. There is also a breakdown of the Amanara rebellion and the major players of the reigns of Tutankhamen and Ankhnaten. The research is meticulous but the information is quite dated.
