This is your typical YA/Paranormal novel with all the cliches. Girl meets boy, girl is head over hills in love with boy, boy has secrets, girl finds out she's not normal, etc....

I wouldn't say it's bad, because it's really good for it to have been written by a high schooler. If she's this talented now, I can only imagine what her books will be like once she's an adult and has learned a lot about writing.

I would recommend this to teens and not adults. I say that because, if you're like me and love this genre, then you will see all the cliches that you've ever read in YA books. It's very well written but the words are repetitive. At the end of the book there's an author note that explains why there are so many of the same adjectives repeatedly used.

I think that in itself explains so much. Again this is a good book and could be enjoyed by teens, or maybe there are adults who would like it also. You have Teen love and paranormal, that's a good combination itself. I enjoyed reading it and if there's a sequel, I'd definitely read it.
