Omg such an emotional rollercoaster!! I ugly cried, I felt everything 🖤❤️
I started and finished this book the same day, as I could not put it down!! There were twists that I both loved and hated at the same time. It is what it is!

I loved it, I felt it had a great ending to the duet

I disliked Liam in the 1st book, and now my feelings have changed!
You see more to his story in this one and understand his reasoning behind everything. Crow is still my favourite ❤️ I just love his personality. Charlie is such a fierce and strong character. I loved that for her!

I definitely recommend this duet it was written really well and fast-paced. It was interesting from the start to finish 💋

I can't wait to read Gray's story next ❤️

“No one will ever get to you again. The only devil that you need to worry about in your life is me.”

I cried!😭 This book is so damn good! I had to finish it the same day the ARC team received our copies. I yelled, cussed, screamed, cried, clapped, and more.

🎢Let’s talk about this crazy, emotional ride

The second book picks up right where it left off. Charlie was attacked and then rescued by Liam and Grey but not technically….🥴

As we learned from the last book, Crow is an O’banian which is basically like the mafia. Gray is back and it was nice to learn more about his character and I loved his personality. Can’t wait to check out his story in the 3rd book.

“Now you fucking bow to me.”
Charlie is one badass character! Love, love, love her!!! Despite all the stuff she went through in the first book and this second book. She’s proved everyone wrong, still standing tall, and is the Queen!🔥🔥

“There are monsters everywhere.”
As much as I should probably dislike Liam and his messed-up ways. I liked him a lot. Learning more about his story and all the trauma that he went through and continues to go through in this book. Gave me a deeper understanding of his actions.

Crow is my favorite because of his protectiveness, humor, and loving personality. I couldn’t get enough of him. He is so perfect! His family seemed pretty amazing too!

That ending! I already know who the lover is and I’m excited for it!!!🔥

I loved this book so much. Tons of spice, action, fast-paced, and more. There were pages that I highlighted the whole thing😂. If you haven’t checked out this series yet, you’re missing out! But again, make sure you check out the full page of warnings as it may not be for everyone. If you’re like me the darker, the better. This is for you!🔥

Thank you, J.R. Dust, for allowing me to be a part of your ARC team. As always, my review is my opinion and thoughts. This review will be shared on my Instagram (Alexandriavwilliams_) and blog https://www.sidekickstyles.com/blogs/... shortly.

I needed to get my emotions in check before I started this review. The last few chapters wrecked me, I was crying like a baby. It took me on a roller coaster of emotions. JR will break your heart, piece it back together with hope, then break it again! At the end I was devastated, I thought if he only waited a couple more minutes. Then at the hospital I thought oh thank goodness he’s going to be alright, then realized no everything will not.
Book 2 was so much better than book 1 I thought. And I really enjoyed book 1. There were several times I was totally shocked at the turn of events. Char has gone through so much, but that girl is a fighter. She was so incredibly strong. I loved Crow all through book 1, and fell even more in love with him in book 2. That man was so good for Char, he was so loving and protective. I went from not liking Liam to loving him. I liked getting to know him, his life was sucky. I felt bad for him he had gone through. And Gray… I’m so curious about him. I loved getting to know him and seeing how protective he was with Char. I cannot wait for his book! I have a little idea of who his lover is and am excited to find out for sure. All I know is Gray’s story is going to be freaking hot!
This was an amazing book, it has everything- action, betrayal, loss, heartbreak, twists you’re not going to expect, but JR does a phenomenal job at writing everything and delivers a happily ever after ending.
I definitely recommend this duet, but DEFINITELY check the triggers- and have tissues!

This book was emotional. The trigger warnings are a page long so read them before beginning. This begins with Liam and Gray finding Charlie from events at the end of book 1. Honestly, I was expecting to loathe Liam for this entire book but once I got the reasoning behind his actions and his background, I definitely hated him less. Charlie is suck a great FMC, she doesn't become weak after everything that happened to her. And of course, I loved Crow from the very start. There are some rough spots in this book (I ugly cried at one point), that's a testament of how good the writing is. I'm not going to say that I'm not bitter towards JR Dust for the twist at the end, but I feel like it's about as HEA as one can get in a dark romance. A physical copy of this will definitely make it to my bookshelves.

My review on Signed for Him
(Signed With Love book 2)
By Author J.R. Dust

This read was an ARC read!

I have to say J.R. has another wonderful hit with Signed for Him. Book two starts right from the ending of book one. This book will make you cry, make you fall in love with the characters, and it definitely is a tear jerker. Charlie goes through so much in her story in this second book. She comes so far. She deals with finding out bad things from her kidnapping/torture... She finds love with a villain who isn't really a villain. There's a lot of spice and action and stuff that will definitely be an eye-opener to you.. Make you change your stand on some of the characters. Make sure you look up the triggers before reading. May you love this book duo as much as I do. If you haven't read book one Signed for You check it out... Book three Sign the Line comes out Nov. 21, 2023 & That's Gray story!!! Can't wait!

Definitely pre-order your copy of Signed for Him!! Comes out August 1, 2023, you don't wanna miss out on this series!

"I will never let anyone get to you, Charlie. I might be the bad guy, but I know you know I'm being truthful when I say that you can trust me in this moment. I would skin any man or woman alive that dared to even think about harming you."

Signed for Him is a dark MC romance with heartbreaking moments that left me sobbing. Charlie’s journey to her HEA isn’t easy. She must fight for each happy moment. This book cannot be read as a standalone; events kick off right where Signed for Her ended.

I am leaving this review intentionally vague because I feel it is best to go in blind. If you have no triggers, skip over the Author’s Note. Please read and heed the TW/CW included if you have any triggers.

Deep secrets are revealed. Betrayals will test loyalties. Charlie rises above, but it comes at a cost. Her story ends in an unconventional HEA.

Signed for Him is fast burn and spicy with several kinks explored. There are MF and MFM scenes. Not all scenes are consensual.

Stylistic notes - The FMC has some inner turmoil she works through on-page. This leads to some repetitive thoughts. There are multiple 1st person POVs though most of the story is told in Charlie’s POV.

Genre: Contemporary Dark MC Romance
Tropes/Features: Dark content, MC club, Mafia, bodyguard MMC, trauma survivor FMC, morally gray MMC, age gap, father’s best friend, best friends to lovers
Narrator: Multiple 1st Person POV (most chapters in FMC’s POV)
Relationship Type: Why Choose – MFM, fast burn, spicy – including kinks and DP
Book Type/Ending: Part Two in Signed with Love duet – unconventional HEA (Signed for Her must be read 1st)
TW/CW: For the best reading experience, go in blind. If you have triggers, read and heed the comprehensive list in book.

O.M.G.!!! Signed For Him is heartbreakingly beautiful! I am going to be honest and say the only other book that truely effected me as emotionally as this one was Darling Venom. I rarely cry during books but his book….. Gahhhhh!! It’s everything guys I swear. I also rarely buy paperback/hardback copies but I preordered book one and two for my collection!!!

Signed For Him will take everything you thought you knew and twist it inside out until the characters you hate are ones you love and the ones you loved you hate. It turned out completely different from how I THOUGHT it would go from book one. So many twists and turns, heartache, and of course filled with love. I ABSOLUTELY CANNOT WAIT FOR THE THIRD BOOK! I have possibly theories about it from (possible) clues from this book but only time will tell!!

Moral of the story: READ THIS SERIES! You will not be disappointed! But make sure you read the trigger warnings before you read.

Favorite quotes:

"No one will ever get to you again. The only devil that you need to worry about in your life is me."

"I've already taken up too much of your time and inflicted more hurt on you than I wanted to. It's time for you to go home, baby girl. It's time for you to heal and live your life."

"Now you fucking bow to me,"

For the second and last time, I'm signing this for you. For him. For everything we never got to be. In another world, we'll have it all. I'll see you again one day, but until then, I'll raise our son to be as mighty and wonderful as you were both always supposed to be. Until we meet again. Signed For Him. For You. For Us.

I will simply say that JR Dust did an amazing job in turning the story completely upside down and making me love the one character I hated so much in the first book. He didn’t deserve our ire in the first place and Damm he didn’t deserve anything that came to him, not in his past nor in present.

Shit, What just really happened???? When I started the book I didn’t think anything like something like this will happen. I am a very practical person in many ways but sometimes the story gets to me and this one is that type. I feel so heartbroken and sad and I don’t know how to express but I am NOT OK. NOT AT ALL.

I am not going to discuss the story here, that you can go and read and experience the emotions yourself but I will tell you that this one was a FANTASTIC READ and should be read in order as it’s a DUET. The author wrote it well and executed it superbly. The title is perfectly curated according to the story.

Charlie and Crow and Liam and Gray all have touched my heart in their own way. Characters have grown in a genuine way and you can relate to them at every step of the story. I laughed, I almost cried, and I felt sad and shocked but in the end. I felt the loss as it was meant to be felt. A must-read for all the DARK ROMANCE LOVERS.

Signed for Him was such an amazing emotional rollercoaster that made me bawl my eyes out twice when I rarely cry for a book. J.R. Dust completed the duet in such vivid details and plot that it kept me hooked from the beginning. I am heartbroken, but not at the same time and I can't wait for more from her.

🌶🌶

This book will take you on a serious emotional roller coaster; up, down, sideways, upside down, diagonal... you get the point.

If you read book 1, you know who the "bad guy" was, and in book 2, everything you thought you knew just blows right out the window. Lol

This book has a lot more character building, especially with someone who becomes one of the main characters...this story makes you learn so much more than you could have even imagined.

Char has been put through the ringer from the start of the book all the way until the last page. This lady is so emotionally tough after all the h€ll she has been through!

There was a point that I did have my heart completely ripped out of my chest because I could relate to a situation Char went through, and it pulled all of my own feelings and emotions front and center!

This story does conclude on a non-traditional HEA, but you'll be happy with the end result.

🔥 Be sure to check your triggers! This book is much darker than book 1.

I am still reeling for the emotional heartbreak that I have felt with this book. Now before anyone asks, yes it is a HEA. This is the second book in the Signed for Love duet, and it picks up right at the cliffhanger from book one. There is some things that could be big triggers for some, so please I beg you to check the trigger warnings before you start this book. There have been many tears shed while reading, some from laughing so hard, while other were from the happiness, and still some from heartbreak. The ending of this book broke my heart, but J.D. did put it back together before the end. Charters that I despised in the first book, I found myself liking through book two. But there is one character that I loved in book one, that I am so mad with now in book two. So be ready for the lows, highs, twist and turns that this wonderful book is going to take you on. Just a warning, if you are hoping for lots and lots of hot steamy spicy scenes then you might be disappointed. I however am not and believe that the spice was just right in heat and amount.
Star rating is a very solid 5. Pepper rating is a strong 3 1/2.

“Now you f*cking bow to me”

Book 2 picks up right where book 1 ends. Honestly, at the beginning of this book I really wanted to punch Liam in the throat. Luckily, I kept reading and we learn the reasoning behind his actions. He did slowly grow on me throughout the book, but nothing compares to Crow. He will always be my favorite. I love how how protective he is. Although, I won’t discount Liam making the ultimate sacrifice in order to keep Charlie safe. Even though I questioned his motives in the beginning, he always had Charlie’s best interests in mind even if it didn’t appear like it at the time.

And can we just say how much of a BAMF Charlie is? Everything she’s gone through and the amount of spark and fight she still has.

The ending was an emotional roller coaster. What a journey this duet has been. This book made me laugh at times as well as pulled on my heartstrings. I can definitely see how the end made them cry (I just have a black heart).

Absolutely cannot wait for Gray’s story!

This book had my emotions all over the place!!

I ugly cried!! Like big fat tears just streaming down my face. I laughed and cussed and almost threw my damn phone! This book is amazing!!

First let me say I LOVE Crow. I love how he loved Charlie and how he would do anything to protect her and be there for her.

Liam…gosh. As much as I should’ve hated him I just couldn’t. Yeah he did things he shouldn’t have but he protected Charlie in the only way he could!! And just knowing what he went through for her…whew. And being able to see more into his background gave me a better I understanding of him.

Charlie is badass!! Despite everything she went through! She has proved to everyone that she deserves to be Queen!

This book gave me all the feels! It had just the right amount of action and it fast paced. Oh and don’t let me forget about the spice! This book is dark but and had a lot of trigger warnings but if that’s what you’re in to then you need to read this book!!

Well shit. I’m wrecked.

I had no idea how this book was going to end. There were several paths she could have led us down but this one…was totally unexpected.

This book was great. The defeat, the fight, the angst, the sexual tension and build up, the sheer devotion and love — all came together to create an amazing duet.

The highly anticipated book two is finally finished! This book picked up right where it left off in book one. Charlie is a strong amazing FMC who doesn’t let anything keep her down just rises her up more. If you like morally grey men this is the book for you! We all love Crow and Charlie, but I unexpectedly loved Liam too and ugly cried at the end of the book. From the beginning you are taken on a twisting turning story that’s impossible to put down. This book has trigger warnings so pay attention to those. I can’t wait for Grays book to come out.

This made me feels things I haven’t felt while reading it. I love how Charlie and Liam are brought together. Even though it was the wrong way. But she found love in him. But Crown will always be my number one for her. It’s their love that create so many fuzzy feeling in me. This has many dirty and wrong things in but over all. It give you love with Charlie, Crow and Liam. I seriously though that Victor would be my favorite, but Crown blew him way way out of the water for me!

I absolutely loved this book, more then the 1st one I think. It was an absolute rollercoaster of emotions. I loved Crow since the first moment I met him in the first book but the second one made me love him even more. And Liam, I ended up with mixed emotions until I realized he had a love for Charlie that no one else could even fathom. Such an amazing read. It will defiantly leave you in tears.

✨SPOILERS✨

I enjoyed this book!! I loved the first one and had high expectations for book 2 and J.R Dust delivered them!! My heart was shattered at Liam’s death, put back together briefly when I thought he was fine and then shattered all over again; just to be put back together one last time when Charlie is talking about her growing family with Crow and all the love they have for each-other and for Liam 🥹
I gave it 3 stars SOLELY because some parts were hard for me to understand since it’s written in a UK dialect. Being from the US, what makes sense to someone in the UK did not make sense for me and I ended up rereading those parts a few times in order to understand what Charlie was trying to say

Literal tears, I did not wait this long to have my heart ripped out of my chest. Omg I don’t even have the words to describe the feelings I’m feeling right now. Everything I thought I knew from book 1 was flipped upside down and left me with more questions than answers at first. As the story progressed, I got my answers and even answers to questions I didn’t know I had. Who I was right about in book 1, well turns out I wasn’t - technically. There are two sides to every story and while it doesn’t always excuse someone’s actions, it does explain the choices being made. Overall a bittersweet ending and while I would have wanted a happily ever after, not all stories need to end that way and that’s okay.

I thought book one left me speechless but I was wrong. Definitely read the trigger warnings. This series has a chokehold over me. Charlie is a badass who has had to endure so much and I feel all emotions for her. The way book one left off had me very nervous to see how everything would transpire. I just so desperately wanted Charls to have the happy ending she deserved. I knew I loved Liam since book one but was unsure of his intentions. I'm so happy with his character development. I'm standing by him no matter what, dark and twisty actions and all. Crow was amazing and supportive, no surprises there. His love for Charlie is just so cute and makes me wish men in real life were written by women. I am so excited for Gray's book and seeing his relationship with mystery man evolve. Do we need counseling after this book? Probably but that's not always a bad thing, the best books always leave me emotionally scarred. Be prepared to cry. Unless you have like super strength and can control your emotions.

Crow. Always the knight and shining armour and the man every girl dreams of! The man who gives up his title just to be by her side is ugg everything.

Liam.If you hated him you wont after this!! You may think he is the villian but boy he saves Charlie way more than you would ever expect. I love you but the way you treated us i don't know if i can forgive you for leaving us 😭

This duet is literally amazing. I do not know how to feel right now, i just want to cry but be proud and happy at the same time!

Signed for him is book 2 in the signed with love duet. Signed For You left us on a huge cliff hanger not knowing what happened to our FMC Char.

This book will take you on an emotional roller coaster that will really mess with your emotions.
If you read book 1, you know who the "bad guy" was, and in book 2, everything you thought you knew is turned upside down and all the way around. He’s complicated, has tons of trauma and he and Char trauma bond. You really get to know some of the characters on a deeper level in this book and so much more is revealed, especially with someone who becomes one of the main characters.

Char has been put through hell from the start of the book all the way until the last page. Char grows from an innocent, naive, book worm in book 1 to a strong, independent, emotionally tough and bright women after everything she went through.

There was a point in the story I had my heart completely ripped out of my chest because I could relate to a situation Char went through, and it pulled out all of my own feelings and emotions. After everything Char went through her story does on a non-traditional HEA.

Be sure to check your triggers! This book is much darker than book 1.

What. A freaking. Roller coaster. Signed for Him was extremely unpredictable and invoked a number of emotions within me. When i finished Signed for You, this was not on my list of predictions whatsoever.

There was death, sex, love, revelations, torture, betrayal, etc. All events that keeps the reader on their toes and interested.

One of the sex scenes was very alarming and I can honestly say I have never read anything like that before. It’s not every day that you read a book where they use blood as lube or having sex on top of a maimed, unconscious person haha

I even shed a couple of tears when Liam died which took me by surprise. His death was very sudden, especially when it finally happened within the hospital. I was surprised to see that he ended up being a good guy in the end.

I think Crow is my favorite. I love the way he calls Char princess all the time and he is constantly there supporting her through thick and thin no matter what happens. The home/cottage JR Dust describes that Crow reveals to Charlie sounds so cute!

I wish we could have read more of Alice’s story and I hope that’s coming soon. I also would like to see more with Char as the MC president and how she handles the relationships she made with other clubs to include the Irish Mafia.

We love a happy ending though! I feel like the book ended in a good place and closes the chapter for Charlie, Crow, Liam and their story.

I know Gray’s story is next and I am highly suspicious it involves Victor and that’s why at the end of Signed for Him referenced Gray’s “lover.” Because it has not been revealed to us yet. That’s just my prediction for the next book.

What an emotional roller coaster!
I felt every single emotion during this novel. It picked up right where the first novel left off & I couldn’t be more thankful after that cliffhanger. Please check the trigger warnings before you read, it is a bit darker than the first. I don’t want to give too much away but J.R. Dust did a beautiful job of shattering my heart & piecing it back together. It was thankfully a happy ending but the ride getting there was full of ups & downs.
