Millions of People's This book changed my life! I cried thru the whole thing because ever since I was a small girl, I just KNEW that I was born for greatness and to make a difference in the world; however, I realized that I had allowed that dream to lie dormant, buried underneath fear and failures. I had settled for a life of mediocrity. but NO MORE! This parable is so easy to read but is filled with wisdom about how to never allow anyone to steal your dream and about the struggles we all face in reaching for that dream….but, dreams really do come true! This book came at a crucial time in my life. It is a quick, simple read, but very profound. I found this information to be helpful in this new season of transition in my life. I learned that fear is just a four letter word and it is time to move with passion to reach my dreams. Yes, I said dreams with an "s", because life is full of many great things to achieve!!

My parents gifted me this book in 2006 when I moved in my college dorm...and I just got the chance to read it. I’m a great son, trust! What I enjoyed was this book’s message to live on the basis of love vs. fear, standing in your truth, and being authentic to yourself and your dreams. 18 year old me would have appreciated all the religious influences and references. 30 year old me replaced a lot of this with my own belief system...but got really difficult to do so during the end. Overall, a good book to help facilitate a return of energy, motivation, and drive.

This book was amazing! One of my friends recommended it to me and I feel that the timing was perfect. I’m currently starting a new season in my life and I feel as though this book was a great tool and piece of encouragement as I begin this new season. I would definitely recommend it if you are also in a new season in your life where things can be intimidating, as this book is all about having faith in the plans God has for your life and not being afraid to take that big step forward in his direction. It was an easy read and definitely left me with lifted spirits.

I love Bruce Wilkinson -- both the man of God and the author. The Dream Giver reminds my of the way Pilgrim's Progress is written. It is a good book; however, I read it some time ago, just picked it up again, and can barely remember its content. Some of that could be me, but some of that might be the book as well. Just had a couple of sentences underlined.
