Fated Mates of the Varool is one of my absolute favorite series! If you love smoking-hot aliens, non-stop action, danger & passion, this collection is a must-read!

🔥 Possessed by the Alien Protector - “See me. See my skin of two colors. If I am perfect, then so are you.”
~
Eve is such an amazing woman! After an incident, she’s left scarred and full of insecurities. But she’s such a kind, caring and courageous woman. Even more, after being chosen to train as a sniper, she turns out to be an absolute badass! And it was so heartwarming to witness her pure joy and awe when she first stepped on Sagittarian One. I adored her so much!

And Tren is such a magnificent male! The Lord Protector of the Varool is strong, powerful, honorable, dangerous and fiercely protective. And I loved his possessive and passionate side. Even more, he’s so supportive and thoughtful. I absolutely loved him!

Everything that happened between Eve and Tren was so perfect. It was so inspiring to see Eve discovering herself and her strengths. And Tren’s support during her journey was amazing. Those two were so perfect for each other and their chemistry was undeniable from the first moment they met. Even more, they were such a spectacular team and I loved how protective they were of one another. I just love it when a fierce woman gets to save the badass warrior. What I loved even more was that Tren was able to see beyond her scars and show Eve what a magnificent woman she truly is. Their romance was full of blazing hot passion and I couldn’t get enough of both of them.

In addition, the storyline and worldbuilding were fantastic. I think I want a thousand Layvas - that little dragon was so adorable. Even more, the battle against the Folri continues and, with the peace treaty, the Humans and the Varool are speeding up the integration process of the two species to help in the fight. But it is not over yet.

Overall, the story is a magnificent addition to the series. It’s filled with non-stop action, danger, suspense, twists, drama, scorching hot romance and spectacular characters.

I absolutely loved every single page of it!

~~~~~~~~
🔥 Possessed by the Alien Renegade - “You are far too tempting, my mate. You have no idea what I want to do to you.”
~
Mari is the youngest head pilot of the Chandra who’s been chosen by the Varool to train as a fighter pilot. She might be tiny but she’s so fierce, brave and capable. And I really loved that she was so optimistic and eager. Mari is one amazing and badass woman and I loved her so much!
First Scout Var is one angry, growly and grumpy warrior. And he’s the best pilot and scout in the Varool fleet. But his golden eyes and the stripes marking his face, showing his Varax heritage, has made him an outcast. He might prefer to be alone but Var’s loneliness really broke my heart. Nevertheless, he’s one absolutely amazing male! He’s so strong, noble, courageous and willing to put himself in danger for his people. Even more, beneath his gruffness hides such a gentle, caring and sweet male. I couldn’t help but utterly adore everything about this magnificent warrior!
I absolutely loved everything that happened between Mari and Var! They’re sent on a dangerous mission to discover how the Folri ships work. I really loved how well they fit together and what an amazing and badass team they were. And from the moment they met, their attraction was undeniable and their chemistry was fantastic. Even more, they were willing to take so many risks for their people and were so fiercely protective of one another. And when they finally gave in to their feelings, the passion they shared was off-the-charts hot. Honestly, being chased by a Varax is hot AF. Oh, I just love it when the alien males go all primal and dominant! Mari and Var were definitely meant to be together and I loved every moment of their journey towards happiness and love.
In addition, the worldbuilding and the storyline were spectacular. I really have a soft spot for alien pets and Kiv was so cute, fluffy, purple and adorable. Even more, I loved that we got to learn more about the Varool and the Varax and their shared history. And I quite liked the Varax! With the new discoveries and alliances, the Varool and the humans might actually be one step closer to dealing with the Folri once and for all.
Overall, the story is another phenomenal addition to the series. It’s filled with non-stop action, danger, suspense, twists, blazing hot romance and characters you will absolutely adore.
I couldn’t put it down and loved it so much!
🔥 Possessed by the Alien Hero - “You are the most intoxicating thing in the universe.”
Sofia is a molecular biologist. I loved her brilliant mind and how dedicated she was to her work. Even more, she’s so fierce, brave, kind and passionate, willing to face unimaginable dangers to save everyone. And her very vocal and opinionated lady bits had me laughing a lot! I loved that fiery woman so much!
Lord Ambassador Yash is one very serious Varool. He’s not only a skilful negotiator who can very easily read people, but he’s also the Deadly Blade of the Varool. He’s learned from a young age to suppress his emotions and appears cold and unflinching. But there is so much more to him than meets the eye. Yash is strong, dangerous, deadly, loyal, possessive, caring and fiercely protective. And I adored every single thing about him!
I absolutely loved everything that happened between Yash and Sofia. For over a month he’s been trying to resist her and keeping his distance even knowing she’s his fated mate. Even more, Yash was prepared to die for his people, but thanks to Sophia, he learned that there is so much to live for. From the start, their attraction was undeniable and their chemistry was amazing. And when new hope rises, all bets are off and Yash’s control finally snaps. Unleashed Yash is a sight to behold and hot AF. I loved to witness Mr. Ice transforming into Mr. Scorching Hot, Dirty-Mouthed and Irresistible. Sofia and Yash were so perfect for each other and the passionate moments they shared were scorching hot. (Oh, Mirror, Mirror on the wall, who's the dirtiest Ambassador of them all? 😏) Not only that, but together they were a force to be reckoned with and an unstoppable and dangerous team.
In addition, the storyline was phenomenal! A three-way treaty is formed between the Humans, the Varool and the Vrax and I’m super curious about the ARK program. Even more, the final battle with the Folri is upon them and everyone is more than ready to deal with the Swarm for good. And let’s not forget Carina - the cutest and most adorable munk-cat.
Overall, the story is a spectacular series finale! It’s filled with danger, non-stop action, suspense, humor, twists, blazing hot romance and magnificent characters.
I couldn’t put it down and loved every single page of it!
She must mate and consumate before being allowed to make The voyage. To prove Kira's theory, she is paired with Var to take a Flori ship and to figure out how it works without attracting the bugs if possible. What she doesn't know yet is that they are fated mates.
The author, through her gift, succeeds in writing a sequel to this great series that carries strong messages. " Prejudice and racism is only treasured by those with little minds and no honor."
Book 6 The hero.
Yash is a Veroolian and the AMBASSADOR of the Veroolian Empire while, also being the last Deadly Blade of the Verool Empire. He has sworn off love for purely noble reasons, but the divine mother has other plans.
"My mate was both intelligent and an excellent strategist."
Possessed by the Alien Protector (Fated Mates of the Varool #4)
"My mate was both intelligent and an excellent strategist."
Lord Protector Tren was among those trying to figure out which humans could help fight the Folri, and save both their species. Part of the challenge is helping non-combat personnel they have relevant skills, and the stomach for the job.
Eve is good at her job on the human ship. It is nothing glamorous, but she rocks it. Now, the girl who has never tested well is being asked to take an Alien test, and see if she can be useful in the fight of their lives.
This done in one Kindle Unlimited quick read builds on the previous stories while standing nicely on its own. A great story about thinking we know how others view us and our lives, yet sometimes we don't realize how much we've colored those beliefs and feelings with our own interpretations of events and perspectives.
Possessed by the Alien Renegade (Fated Mates of the Varool #5)
"I have to prove I’m dependable on all levels."
Mari is a human pilot, eager to pilot one of the alien ships... In part because she was born to fly, and in part because humans are settling down on a new home world and cargo runs are not the type of flying she has in mind.
Var is a scout for the aliens, the best they have. The one Mari can't help wanting to fly with, and the more she gets to know him the more she fears she'll have to impress him if she wants to be partnered with him on a daring mission that could make which difference for both their species.
This done in one Kindle Unlimited quick read deals with miscommunications, assumptions, prejudices, the baggage we carry, the amazing bonds we form, the healing power of friendship, understanding and love.
This book moves the overarching arc forward, expands the world building, and overall is a really enjoyable addition to the series.
Possessed by the Alien Hero (Fated Mates of the Varool #6)
“Stupid, hot alien who runs cold,”
Yash has dedicated his life to duty. He knows enough of what his future holds to understand why ambassadors like himself do not take mates. Then his fated mate expresses interest in having a husband... and duty and desire collide.
Sofia has dedicated herself to finding a cure for the Folri virus... but that's not going to save them from their enemy, so she's finding time to figure out a way to fight the enemy as well. Little does she imagine her efforts will go from side project, to crucial as she discovers the plan her leaders are prepared to fall back on if nothing better is presented.
This done in one Kindle Unlimited books moves the overarching arc forward in a major way, sets in motion events that could spin out a new series, and gives several characters from previous stories some nice scenes.
A story about community, sacrifice, and uniting against a common foe, Yash is a wonderful, complex character with a golden heart. Capable of the violence required to defend his species from great threats, yet gentle with beings he realizes can't understand his words. While the Varool concept of ambassador may be alien to humans, he reflects some very human concepts of an ambassador, like viewing a situation from both sides.
I really enjoyed this book, and while it reached not just a happy ending, but a sense of conclusion for this chapter between the humans and Varool, I hope more books/stories are coming.
Possessed By The Alien Protector
Tren and Eve are the fourth human and Varoolian couple, and they are so perfect together. Tren is hot, caring, and an amazing warrior, while Eve is star struck over Tren, discovering she is his fated mate, knowing her scars are not offensive to him, and finding out she is an incredible sniper. These two were such fun, and their adventures kept me on the edge of a mental seat! Watching Eve grow more confident was wonderful, and watching Tren fall for his mate was melty good! He was the perfect mate for Eve! Loved their little dragon, Layva, too! I really enjoyed this book and this couple!
Possessed By The Alien Renegade
Mari and Var added a lot of new situations to this series! Var was a character worth lots of hugs and sadness for the prejudice and discrimination he was subjected to by his own people, including his parents. Mari is the balm and joy his soul needed. She loves him without prejudice for the sweet, amazing man he is. These two made me smile and cheer them on from the beginning to the end. Var’s love and care of Kiv showed the lonely, selfless, man beneath the warrior. Mari and Var love unconditionally, which made this book that much sweeter. Introducing the Varax to the fight against the Folri changes everything.
Possessed By The Alien Hero
Yash and Sofia made me smile, laugh, cry, and turned my heart to mush. Yash’s life story is so sad! To be an orphan is bad enough, but to grow up being taught to suppress all his emotions and hopes for a normal future is heartbreaking! The way Yash so easily loved munk-cat Carina was proof that he was overflowing with love to share. Sofia is brilliant and the perfect woman able to give Yash all he missed out on emotionally. I love how she opened her heart with understanding of all he had missed. I almost did a happy dance once Yash’s walls fell, and he accepted a future with Sofia as his mate! This conclusion to the series was satisfying on the Varoolian and Folri front, but I want to know what happens with the Varax’s search for the ARK ships! More Varax, please!!
Fated Mates of the Varool #4-6 . . .
I have read this entire series and highly recommend it. The books have a common theme of the Varool males who will face any danger, no matter what it might be, to protect their mates. You will be half in love with the characters before you read through the first page! Below is a review of one of the books to give you an idea of what you can find in this set.
Titles included are:
✨ POSSESSED BY THE ALIEN PROTECTOR
✨ POSSESSED BY THE ALIEN RENEGADE
✨ POSSESSED BY THE ALIEN HERO
*** Reviewing “POSSESSED BY THE ALIEN PROTECTOR (#4)” ***
Eve and Tren's Story . . .
The Varool and humans are in a fight to get rid of the insectoid Folri enemy. As part of the treaty, human females are currently being tested for a skill set to help in the actual fighting as well as being a possible mate for one of the warrior Varools. Only a mated pair is allowed to step onto the planet Sagittarian One to fight the Folri.
Tren is the Lord Protector of the Varool and is a wonderful character. He is a protector who puts the people and mission first. He is a powerful fighter, honorable and fair. But he cannot proceed to fight on the planet until he finds his mate. His strong desire for a family and his fated mate is making him anxious and worried he will not find her.
Eve Lombardi is on the next ship being tested for skills and mate-compatibility. She is insecure because she was scarred in an accident and she has never shown any previous skill aptitude in the past. But she is a caring person who wants to do her part to help. To her delight, and a great boost to her confidence, the Varool's simulation tests uncover superior sniper abilities that make her invaluable. But will any of the aliens want her? And if her mate turns out to be Tren, will he only want her for the children she can give him? Or will their love carry them to a perfect HEA together?
Yay! The only thing better than these books on their own is them in a box set! I highly recommend (and I’ve put my review for the last one - written the first time I read it - below).
Possessed by the Alien Hero
4.5 stars. Yash, the male alien lead, recognised Sofia, the female human lead, as his fated mate the moment he scented her. But he knows that his role means he’s likely to be required to take suicidal action for his people and he doesn’t want to leave her unable to take a partner. Sofia has been attracted to Yash but focussed on the biological permutations of a cure for the disease their enemy inflicted upon them as well as creating a disease to return the favour. When she succeeds, she knows she’ll need to help deliver the payload, regardless of what Yash wants… and maybe now she can get him past his hang ups…
This story is dual POV, well written, and contains a standalone romance incorporated in an ongoing overarching plot. I really enjoyed Sofia’s vivacious personality and her continual overtures to Yash, which helped him overcome a lifetime’s training of reserve and withdrawal. I appreciated Yash’s position and the balance he felt compelled to maintain. I enjoyed the intimate moments, both bedroom and not, that solidified their relationship. And I definitely enjoyed what appeared to be the win against their combined enemy. I’m looking forward to what the author does from here!.
I received a complimentary copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review.
I found the first box set to be a bit repetitive in the storylines. This set is everything I wanted with compelling characters with complex backstories and motivations. I really enjoyed seeing the characters come together and figure out how the evil bugs’ tech worked. Very enjoyable.
Book 5!!!
Loved this series. Even though book 1 was good, I wasn’t sold on the series. However, the more I read and the whole story unfolded, the more I fell in love with them all. Book 5 was my favorite! So good - loved the depth and complexity of those two.
